A group of people from Ukraine will be cooking Borschtsch on the two Saturdays. This is a traditional Ukrainian vegetable soup made from potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions, parsley, dill and turnips. The peasant dark red soup is served with pampushki, a bread with garlic and dill. The donations collected benefit children in Ukraine.

On the 10 December 2023, at 4 pm, the idyllic alpine lake on Monte Pana at the foot of the Sassolungo will be transformed into a magical Christmas landscape. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk to the lake, where in a quiet winter landscape advent melodies of the alphorns Ladinia and Hosianna can be heard and Christmas biscuits with mulled wine and tea can be tasted. On Sunday 17th December at 17:00 in the parish church of Algund, the contemplative Advent singing will once again take place under this year's motto "...listen in Advent". This hour, this year under the motto "...listen", aims to be a spiritual and cultural offering in the hectic Advent season, an hour to refuel and recharge your batteries, to come to rest and reflect on the essentials while listening to the music and contemplative texts. A guided moonlight walk across the snow covered Seiser Alm is surely a experience of a kind. Meeting point with the hiking guide is in front of the info point in Compatsch on the Seiser Alm at 6 p.m. With warm winter clothes and a (head)-torch, we start from Compatsch heading to the Gstatsch Schwaige, where a set table is waiting for us. Now it is time to enjoy the tasting menu and the merry company this evening, before we return to the starting point with the hiking guide. Suitable for adults and teens aged at least 14 years old!
