The varied offer is rounded off with live music, a show kitchen on Saturday evenings, a large gingerbread house from Tauber bakery, a children's programme and, of course, the ever-popular ice-skating rink. Ice skating in the centre of Algund At the same time as the Algund Christmas Market, the ice skating rink on the fairground of the Thalguterhaus will open its doors again this year. From 2nd December 2023 and probably until mid-January 2024, skating fans can do their pirouettes. But less experienced skaters are also welcome on the ice and can rent skates. Those who are too cold despite the healthy exercise can warm up with a hot drink at the gastro stand. Farmers' market in Bruneck! Eleven farmers sell every Friday their own products: vegetables, fruits, jams, bread, eggs, meat and cheese in the center of Bruneck

Locally produced products simply taste better! Fresh vegetables and fruits, eggs, spices, cheese, honey, wine, juice….and many more quality products cultivated and produced in Kaltern are being sold from 8 am to noon on the Square of the town. Come by and experience the taste of nature. All these products have been produced and are being sold by the local farmers themselves. In a matter of fact South Tyrol enjoys of a very good reputation as far as the production of quality products is concerned. Thanks to the accurate cultivation methods and the strict hygenic regulations there is no doubt that these goods are of the highest quality and of the best taste.

The small concert series 'Advent magic' invites you into the Christmas atmosphere at various venues. The Intakt women's choir from San Valentino awaits you on 2 December 2023 at 2.30 p.m. in the Karersee grain mill for an atmospheric concert and stories. Immerse yourself in the contemplative silence of nature and treat yourself to warming drinks such as mulled wine or a snack - in the midst of the enchanting winter landscape.

Relive the essence of wine! The authentic oenological and sensorial experience takes place in the newly created wing of Cantina Kurtatsch. You will learn insightful and interesting facts about the importance of the terroir, the variety of the sites and the unique wines of Cantina Kurtatsch. The guided tour with subsequent tasting (4 TERROIR wines) takes place every Thursday at 4 p.m. and every Saturday at 2.30 p.m. in the new wine shop with a breathtaking view. The number of participants is limited due to the current situation (max. 12 persons), reservation is required.

Visit the Taser Alm on the two consecutive weekends of 2/3 and 8/10 December and experience the magic of Advent at 1,450 meters above sea level. This winter event unfolds in the mountain heights above the town of Schenna/Scena. A dazzling range of quality homecrafts and local artisanal products are on sale at numerous eye-catching stands. Mouth-watering fragrances waft through the crisp mountain air with enticing traditional farm specialties and hot seasonal beverages on offer at the food stands. Throughout, live folk music spices up the Advent atmosphere. For the junior set, there’s also a varied children's programme curated by Elisabeth Karnutsch Taibon. To reach the Taser Alm take the cable car, in return for a cut-price ticket. Patrons conveniently leave their vehicles at the Taser cableway valley station parking lot.

The Christmas market in Laives/Leifers is a meeting place for locals and visitors on the weekends during Advent. On Saturdays and Sundays, the local associations enliven the stalls at the fairground Piazzale Pfarrheim/Festplatz Pfarrheim. There will also be a living nativity scene near the parish church of Laives, a nativity scene trail with big and small masterpieces and a musical programme. Children can look forward to a visit from St. Nicholas and riding on small horses along the Via Pietralba/Weißensteinerstraße. The gastronomy stands are open until 10 pm, the other stands until 8 pm.

This year in Val Sarentino, the visitors of our Christmas street market will be further enchanted by a myriad of shining stars. 20 wooden stands will display the traditional, handcrafted and unique products made in Val Sarentino, while the food and wine stands will offer local goodies such as sweet and airy Krapfen, Striezl (Sarentino-style fried bread) and rye bread.
