Thanks to the sunny location, the mountain season starts earlier in Naturno than elsewhere. We open the new season on the Merano High Mountain Trail together with the mountain farmers of the Naturnser Sonnenberg mountain. The mountain farmers provide rare insights into their lives, traditions and everyday life. Another highlight is the culinary offer. The Sonnenberg mountain inns and farm taverns will spoil you with tasty dishes from the region.

The 10th of April of every year, there will be a big market in the centre of Ortisei called "Marcià de auril".

The Apple Blossom Golf Tournament is the perfect prelude for active golfers to start the new season. The pleasant to play 9-hole course is suitable for golfers of all ages and levels of experience. On the green, tournament participants enjoy local snacks and refreshing drinks. The award ceremony with great prizes and a joint dinner with blossom festive menu complete the golf day. Local products and delicacies including special seeds, herbs and botanical rarities can be found at the UnKräutermarktl Herbs and Weeds Market on Raiffeisen square in the village centre. In addition, there’s a lot to learn about the multiple uses of wild herbs – both in the kitchen as well as in the field of herbal medicine. A special children’s programme, including a creative play corner, a beauty parlour for mini-princesses, a petting zoo with pony rides, as well as traditional Maypole carving – are sure to delight the younger set!

A number of historic farming estates in Lana and environs open their doors to the public. Don't miss this opportunity to visit some of these traditional farms, including a free shuttle service, from 10.00-17.00.

An exclusive spring treat awaits pleasure-lovers on 27 April, when Goyen Castle, unusually, opens the gates to its medieval courtyard. Accompanied by lively music from the “The Swinging Evergreens”, nibbles and sparkling beverages, on this special morning mouths will water and no heart will be left untouched.

The Partschins Band is holding a musical day in the village. A wide variety of music groups belonging to the Partschins Band will play between 9.30 am and 8 pm, including the “Böhmische”, “Zieltolböhmische”, “Flo & Co” as well as many other groups. There will be plenty of food and drink available.

Get up early to enjoy the peace of morning while out hiking. What could be better than enjoying the peace and quiet of morning in the mountains? During the guided hike from St. Zyprian to the Tschafon mountain hut with Egon, a breathtaking view of the Rosengarten massif and the surrounding Dolomites awaits you. In the cosy family-run Tschafon mountain refuge you will enjoy a special mountaineer breakfast with regional products from South Tyrol, before Egon takes you back to the starting point. If you want to enjoy the spring nature a little longer, you can extended the tour to the cross on the Völsegg Peak/Monte Balzo (approx. 25 min) and hike than back to St. Zyprian. After some final stretching exercises, a regional breakfast awaits us in the "Altes Gasthaus am Völser Weiher" restaurant at the Völser Weiher lake in the rising sun before heading back to the starting point. As part of the "Schenna in blossom" series of events, the "Aperitivo lungo at Schenna Castle" will take place for the first time on 18 May. Visitors can enjoy castle charm and DJ beats with sparkling wine and delicious appetisers from the region from 5 to 9 pm. The entry is free.

From 23 to 26 May 2024, the new schenna e.motion event will be all about electric mobility and enjoyment. In addition to excursions with electric vehicles to the most beautiful places in South Tyrol, there will be a special supporting programme with an e-test and safety day in Bolzano, a tour of an e-plant, high-class enjoyment evenings and much more.

In the center of Bolzano, Maretsch Castle where beer culture will be shown in a new light with numerous exhibitors and beer varieties from home and abroad. The craft beer movement has found a heart in South Tyrol.

The volunteer fire department of Plaus cordially invites everyone to the evening festival on the fairground in Plaus.

At the Bergler Harass picnic in Tiers am Rosengarten, nature lovers can savour a range of hearty farmers’ fare with a view over the legendary Dolomites (UNESCO World Heritage). The picnic will take place on June 2nd at the Wuhnleger, an Alpine meadow with a small lake whose waters reflect the Rosengarten. A wooden crate (namend harass in german dialect) will serve as a picnic basket, jam-packed with traditional products from Tiers, including sheep’s cheese, venison salami, Tiers bread, butter, milk, raspberry juice and doughnuts. You pay for what you choose as content. The participants can enjoy the afternoon sitting on a blanket down the shady larchs. Musical entertainment will round off this sociable afternoon to perfection. Registration is not required.

Traditional Alpine folk music: reinterpreted by emerging South Tyrolean artists! On the majestic Nörderberg Mountain in Naturno/Naturns, the Alpine mountain hut season kicks off with a new music festival showcasing upcoming South Tyrolean talent, reinterpreting traditional Alpine folk songs. Throughout the day, four different groups are scheduled to perform at four mountain huts on the Nörderberg.

At the popular "Vieh- & Kramermärkte" you can find tasty and useful things. Four times a year, market stalls with local delicacies, everyday necessities and clothing await visitors.

Red curtain up! This evening, the church square in Völs will be transformed into a unique culinary venue. Creative show kitchens and gourmet stands, led by farmers of Völs will transform the village centre into a very special gastronomic mile. Let yourself be enchanted by the extraordinary scents and aromas of the open show kitchens. Experience how Völser kitchen chefs create wonderful, tasty delicacies from local products. A colourful market atmosphere is created by the stands of the farmers of Völs, who offer their products, grown with love and care. These are also the basis of all the show kitchen dishes created. Spend a relaxing day after the HERO discovering the Dolomites and its culinary traditions while riding an electric bike in total HERO style. We’ve designed a route with several breaks, including some of the most stunning huts on the Seiser Alm plateau which you can access, naturally, by e-MTB. At the huts, prepare yourselves for a delicious aperitivo with your family or friends, or a wonderful lunch and a dessert. The HERO E-Gourmet ride departs and finishes in Selva Val Gardena. 200 spots are available. Start of the tour between 9.30 am and 11.00 am. Shopping on hot summer eventings - June to August is the time of the "long shopping evenings" in the centre of Lana. These evenings are a meeting point for locals and guests to stroll and browse through the shops. Shopping until late in the evening - this is what is on offer in Lana on the balmy summer evenings from 29 June to 17 August 2023: In the pedestrian zone Lana am Gries, visitors can look forward to eight "long shopping evenings" with shops open until 9 pm. In the pedestrian zone, shopping becomes a very special experience: stroll through the pedestrian zone, discover a wide range of offers in the numerous shops, enjoy the evening... For a break in between, the cosy cafés and restaurants invite you to linger.

Every Wednesday, the streets in the centre of Naturno become the scene of culinary delights. Artistic performances, great live bands and a colourful children’s programme ensure entertaining evenings. The shops remain open until late at night. Start: 6 p. m.

The volunteer fire department of Plaus cordially invites everyone to the traditional fire department festival on the fairground in Plaus.

A gourmet menu with a panoramic view! The Berglertafel mountaineers’ dinner is a five-course menu of typical dishes from Tiers served in a stunning setting. The venue is Proa, a mountain pasture with a view of the Rosengarten. There is arguably no other vantage point in Tiers am Rosengarten from where you can see the famous alpenglow of King Laurin’s famous kingdom ... and all this while enjoying a fabulous gourmet menu. The table is more than a 100 metre long and can seat 170 gourmets who – in the form of a row – can enjoy a fabulous meal and, at the same time, this unique view of the Rosengarten.

Festival of the voluntary fire brigade of St. Maddalena/Villnöss valley starting at 6 pm with musical entertainment. On Friday , the 'Duo Flexibel' band plays and on Saturday the 'Duo Volgas'. Tyrolean specialities (Tirtler, doughnuts, Strauben & grilled specialities) will be offered.

The traditional evening market takes place again in Antholz Mittertal. At the 17 colourful market stands you will find local specialities, products from our alpine pastures, souvenirs, decorative products, confectionery, clothing and footwear. In addition a great culinary offer and a trampoline for the little ones awaits you.
