Farmer Martha runs her Knödel cooking classes in spring and autumn, sharing tips and tricks to make sure your dumplings go down a treat. Find out just how good they taste when you sit down to eat together at the end of the class. The ticket includes a cookery course and transfer to the Zmailerhof - please note: return to Schenna either on foot or by taxi at your own expense and must be booked by yourself.

After a short hike, participants can experience the path "from grain to Kaiserschmarren" in the MuseumPasseier. With various hands-on activities in the open-air area, it is shown in an interesting way how a Kaiserschmarren is made from grain. At the end, of course, you can taste the delicious Kaiserschmarren.     Experience Mountain Farm – from Farm to Farm at the Marlengo mountain

    Fresh, aromatic farmhouse bread - a not ordinary experience for the senses. During this excursion on the Marlengo mountain you will get an impression into the everyday life on a mountain farm. After a stop at the „Tschigg“, where you will be introduced to the various self-made products, we continue to „Kurzhof“. There the farmer will explain how an original grain mill works before we conclude to the „Hoferhof“, where we will taste fresh bread and other home-made products. Language: German+Italian We meet at 10 am at Klobenstein station. We take bus 165 to Unterinn. From here we hike to Signat and along the new wine hiking trail "Rebe" to Bolzano. The sunny mountain slope from Bozen up to the Ritten is one of the finest wine-growing areas in South Tyrol. Along the wine steps, the 10 artistic installations offer a fascinating glimpse into the culture of wine production. From Signat the trail leads downhill through the gently rolling vineyards to the viewing platform with its magnificent views of Bozen, then on to the Loosmannhof, to the settlement of St. Justina and down to Rentsch in the historic wine-growing estate of Ansitz Waldgries. The same route leads back uphill from Bozen to Signat.

    Every Wednesday we meet us in the farm of the Schildhof Obergereuth. Together we prepare South Tyrolean bread with spices and wheat from our farm. While the dough is rising and resting, we visit the wheat field and our mill from 1831. The bread and three recipes are taken home. While the bread is baking in the oven, we dedicate ourselves to lunch: a generous and varied platter of cheeses from the organic cheese dairies Aignerhof and Schupferhof, various types of bread from our farm and our medlar jelly.     Get up early to enjoy the peace of morning while out hiking. What could be better than enjoying the peace and quiet of morning in the mountains? During the guided hike from St. Zyprian to the Tschafon mountain hut with Egon, a breathtaking view of the Rosengarten massif and the surrounding Dolomites awaits you. In the cosy family-run Tschafon mountain refuge you will enjoy a special mountaineer breakfast with regional products from South Tyrol, before Egon takes you back to the starting point. If you want to enjoy the spring nature a little longer, you can extended the tour to the cross on the Völsegg Peak/Monte Balzo (approx. 25 min) and hike than back to St. Zyprian.     Early risers are rewarded with clear, fresh air and the tranquillity of the morning to get the day off to a good start, particularly in spring when nature is astir once more. From the tourist office in Völs am Schlern, the morning walk takes us, past Obervöls and the historic noble residence Zimmerlehen, to the Völser Weiher lake, which lies idyllically at the foot of the Sciliar. After some final stretching exercises, a regional breakfast awaits us in the "Altes Gasthaus am Völser Weiher" restaurant at the Völser Weiher lake in the rising sun before heading back to the starting point.
