On three days this winter, the “guided tours at Prösels Castle dedicated to taste, history and culture” will take place: After the guided castle tour, guests will have the opportunity to taste some typical local specialties offered by the producers themselves at the stands in the inner courtyard. Anna-Maria from the Kronlechnerhof farm is a farmer with passion. On her farm in Welschnofen | Nova Levante there are various animals and in summer she has a colourful garden with all types of vegetables and fruits. After a short tour of the farm we cook together various types of dumplings and Krapfen (sweet doughnuts) with the farm products. Finally, we taste together the dumplings and the Krapfen. All participants will receive the recipes of the South Tyrolean specialities to take home. The apple - as juice, refined with cinnamon stick, cloves and a little orange peel - becomes a popular drink in this cold season: Apple Glühmix. Our apple ambassador and sommelière Anja might tell you the recipe for it. But before that, take a walk through the winter apple meadows. What does the farmer do in winter? Where are the harvested apples stored? What does the frost irrigation do in spring? And above all, what does the South Tyrolean apple taste like? TOBOGGANING Tobogganing on the lighted tobogganing trail Rudi 4.0 and (with sufficient snowfall) RudiRun 9.0 and the toboggan hike to the Rossalm offer an unforgettable experience in the evening. ATTENTION: The toboggan runs close at 10:30 pm. HIKING Enjoy the special atmosphere of the night on the winter hiking trail to Rossalm mountain hut. Walking time: approx. 60 minutes. SKITOURING The Plose Nights are the perfect setting for ski touring in the moon light. Length: 9 km | Altitude difference: approx. 1,000 m ATTENTION: The Trametsch slope closes at 10:30 pm.

This winter, the legendary Oberholz will finally be accessible in the evening. On selected Fridays you can enjoy the unforgettable view with an aperitivo lungo. Specially created drinks and variations together with homemade finger food will turn the evening into an an experience. From the cultivation of fodder to the rearing of calves, to livestock farming with dairy products and their refinement into tasty yoghurt, butter and cheese. Even the energy is generated directly on the farm. In the barn and the cheese dairy, visitors can take a tour and learn about the process from milk to cheese. The exciting experience ends with a tasting of the farm products. On the morning of 31 December, the celebrations to bid farewell to the old year and welcome in the new one begin: the annual "Oysters and sparkling wine" event takes place on Grieser Platz, a unique but important fundraising event organised by the South Tyrolean gardeners in collaboration with the municipality of Bolzano.

The town hall square in Corvara becomes the heart of the New Year's Eve celebrations. Music by DJ Martino Sommadossi will give the party the right energy and there will be plenty of opportunities to raise a glass to welcome in the New Year, creating a magical atmosphere that will last long after the stroke of midnight! During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

On 31.12.2023 at 6 p.m. the traditional New Year's Eve ski run (torchlight run) takes place at the village ski lift in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente. After the torchlight descent there will be FREE tea and mulled wine.

On 31.12.2022 at 6 pm the torchlight descent of the Ski & Snowboard School Obereggen traditionally takes place. Meeting point is at 6 pm at the Eben ski lift. Guests can also take part!

On 31.12.2023 at 18:00 the torchlight descent of the Carezza Ski School traditionally takes place at the Paolina lift in Karersee | Carezza. After the torchlight descent there will be tea and mulled wine. Open end party @Golf.food and drinks!

New Year's Eve party with live DJ .

In Lana, there is good reason to celebrate on the last day of the year, 31 December, to bring the year to a fitting close. The innkeepers at the Sterntaler Christmas Market in the Kapuzinergarten invite you to join them from 10.00 to 18.00. Forget the daily grind, enjoy the atmospheric music and raise your glass to toast the new year and spend some cosy moments. At midnight it will be light again in Lana when the festive fireworks light up the sky and we welcome the new year in the hope of health, happiness and unforgettable moments.

With the cablecar Speikboden and the chairlift Sonnklar it goes up to 2.400m in the early morning, right in the middle of the Ahrntal mountains. Once arrived at the top, you have the opportunity to hike to the Sonnklar Cross, which is only 10 minutes away, or you can enjoy the first sunrays directly at the panoramic tower.

The restaurant Sonnklar and the Schüsslerhof offer you a breakfast afterwards - registration for the breakfast required!

For the first track on the slopes, it can be used the cablecar Speikboden, the conveyor belt "Tottomandl" and the chairlift Sonnklar during continuous opening hours. No special ticket is necessary for this, all regular lift tickets are valid (which can be booked online or purchased at the ticket office even on the day of the special ride). All other lifts will open at 08.30 am.

On Wednesday of each week you can ski from one alpine hut to the next and taste the Bestof togheter with a specialized sommelier. The tasting includes various hand made milk products from local dairy cooperatives. A ski instructor takes care of you and will bring you back safely.
