Join us for a curated journey through the heart of Italy’s Pinot Noir growing area. This immersive wine experience begins with a scenic walk through the sun-kissed vineyards of Pinzon and Glen — two charming wine villages. Along the trail, you’ll uncover hidden historical sites and hear the stories that shape our local wine culture.
Designed to be both interactive and family-friendly, the route offers not only cultural highlights but also sweeping views of the landscape and the Trudner Horn Nature Park — a breathtaking backdrop to your day.
After approximately two hours of walking and discovery, you’ll be welcomed into our cellar for a guided tour and a tasting of our wines. The tasting experience lasts about one hour and invites you to savor the character and elegance of our terroir in every glass.

The guided apple hike includes an educational excursion to the apple trees that line the path everywhere here, as well as a film presentation and, of course, apple tasting! Our certified apple ambassador answers all questions and serves up exciting facts about apple growing.

For the 48th time, October in Völs am Schlern means it's time for "Kuchlkastl".
With this culinary initiative, which is known far beyond the borders of South Tyrol, the dedicated restaurateurs of Völs have made a name for themselves among gourmets and connoisseurs.
At "Kuchlkastl", the menu features down-to-earth fare. The dishes are based on old recipes, with chefs taking on the challenge of adapting them to modern tastes while emphasising their origins with wonderful ingredients.

Keschtnriggl - Chestnut days. The Chestnut Weeks and the Törggelen in Merano and Environs have been a South Tyrolean Tradition for years. Chestnut days in Tesimo/Tisens - Prissiano/Prissian, Foiana/Völlan and Lana gets ist Name from the "Keschtnriggl" - a hand-braided basket for Peeling roast chestnuts.
For three weeks, a colourful Event Programme is put on for visitors: Chestnut walks, torchlight processions from castle to castle and the "Keschtnfestl" feast in Foiana, with Music, farmers market, chestnut delicates and traditional crafts.
The aromatic fruit with ist spiky Shell, grows particularly well in Merano and Environs, and during this green Event has pride of place in the specialities of traditional inns and prestigious Restaurants, as well as in exquisite chestnut products such as sweet chestnut hearts, aromatic chestnut beer, hearty chestnut stollen, tasty chestnut spraed, luxuriant chestnut cake, fluffy chestnut bread, the excellent chestnut panettone as well as the noble chestnut praline.
Every Wednesday at 3 PM, we invite you to embark on a unique tasting journey! At our Wine & Spirit Tasting, various winemakers and distillers will showcase their finest products. They will bring their best wines and spirits, share the stories behind them, and let you experience the authentic flavors of South Tyrol.
Discover the current collection of South Tyrol’s first female master distiller, experience the authentic distilling process and taste select wines and spirits in the 14th century tower cellar.
Ripened in the sun, distilled in a copper vat: at the Gaudenz Farm Distillery only first-class, hand-picked fruit finds its way inside. Williams pears, apples, grapes, Vinschgau apricots and quinces are transformed into the finest, single-origin fruit brandies by hand using the keen instinct of the master distiller, which, with their authentic flavour are a true delight for the taste buds.
Christine Schönweger, farmer and South Tyrol’s only female master distiller, describes the path she has taken from a love of fruit, via the art of distilling, to genuine and authentic indulgence, with a guided tour of the Gaudenz farm distillery in the Gaudententurm Residence plus tasting of the farm's own spirits.
The “Törggele” season begins at the beginning of October and ends with Advent. On our hike we visit the Griesser Hof winery north of Brixen, in Vahrn. We taste three white wines (included) and get to know winemaker Paul, who grows and presses the grapes for his wine himself. The hike takes us to another farm inn above Brixen, where the hosts serve us typical Törggelen dishes. We recommend a glass of white wine from Eisacktal valley (meal and drinks not included).

Kurtatsch an der Weinstraße/Cortaccia sulla Strada del Vino, Alto Adige Wine Road
Your guide leads you through several stations where she tells about winegrowing, landscape and history. On the way, at the Baron Widmann winery, in the vineyards, at the Castel Turmhof Tiefenbrunner winery and in the Cantina Cortaccia, you can taste 5 typical wines. The walk lasts 3 1/2-4 hours, about 50 minutes of which are spent actually walking.
The hike starts at the village square in Lajen/Laion. From here you walk together with the hiking guide Helmuth via Fonteklaus to Freins. Arrived at Petra's Honey Hut you come to the first tasting. Different honey variations are tasted and different products are discovered. All are self-produced and processed. Now it goes back to Fonteklaus where lunch is already waiting. After lunch we continue to Lusenegg where the taxi will take us to Novale/Ried. Here is the second stop - jam. At the Zinegg farm there is a wide variety of jams to taste. Afterwards the day ends with the hike to Lajen.

Chestnut enjoyment in Lana. Chestnut farmer Hans Laimer roasts local chestnuts on an open fire in front of the tourist office in Lana and serves them in hot paper bags, so you can warm your hands. Mon-Sat 2.30-7.00 pm.
