South Tyrolean Tirtl and Krapfen are dumplings deep-fried, usually with a salty or sweet filling. Formerly a popular mountain farmer's food, this traditional South Tyrolean dish is prepared and sold in show cooking at the Christmas Market.

Visit the Taser Alm on the two consecutive weekends of 2/3 and 8/10 December and experience the magic of Advent at 1,450 meters above sea level. This winter event unfolds in the mountain heights above the town of Schenna/Scena. A dazzling range of quality homecrafts and local artisanal products are on sale at numerous eye-catching stands. Mouth-watering fragrances waft through the crisp mountain air with enticing traditional farm specialties and hot seasonal beverages on offer at the food stands. Throughout, live folk music spices up the Advent atmosphere. For the junior set, there’s also a varied children's programme curated by Elisabeth Karnutsch Taibon. To reach the Taser Alm take the cable car, in return for a cut-price ticket. Patrons conveniently leave their vehicles at the Taser cableway valley station parking lot.

The Friends of the Nativity Scene invite you again this year to the exhibition of the newly built nativity scenes. Biscuits, tea and mulled wine invite you to linger and enjoy a cosy get-together. The proceeds will go to the "Wünschewagen" and the Peter Pan Children's Cancer Aid. The raffle for the nativity scene will take place on Sunday 10 December at 5 p.m.

“Alpine Advent in Val Sarentino with the magic of the stars”. This year in Val Sarentino, the visitors of our Christmas street market will be further enchanted by a myriad of shining stars. 20 wooden stands will display the traditional, handcrafted and unique products made in Val Sarentino, while the food and wine stands will offer local goodies such as sweet and airy Krapfen, Striezl (Sarentino-style fried bread) and rye bread. The Christmas Village opens its doors on all four Advent weekends, from 24/11 to 24/12/2023 from Friday to Sunday. Candle after candle form a luminous path through the winding alleys. At the Christmas village at Klausen, the stalls are hidden behind fir branches and in old cellars, where you can buy local products. The volunteer fire brigade of Hafling once again invites you to the mulled wine stand in the village centre of Hafling this year. The stand next to the fire station is open every Friday from 6.00 pm, starting on 24 November until 22 December. The stand also opens its doors in the morning on Sunday 24 December. This year you can also expect a pot of luck, mulled wine, mulled apple mix and a convivial evening.

The church square sparkles in christmas lights, soft Christmas music and the smell of mulled wine and fresh pastries wafts through the air - on Friday, 1 december the Algund Christmas Market opens its doors. 17 stands and two gastronomy stands are looking forward to make you happy with regional handcrafts, hot drinks and traditional dishes. The varied offer is rounded off with live music, a show kitchen on Saturday evenings, a large gingerbread house from Tauber bakery, a children's programme and, of course, the ever-popular ice-skating rink. This is Algunds Christmas experience! The guided tour with subsequent tasting (4 TERROIR wines) takes place every Thursday at 4 p.m. and every Saturday at 2.30 p.m. in the new wine shop with a breathtaking view.
