As part of the “WineSounds on the South Tyrolean Wine Road” in late autumn 2024, we warmly invite you to the concert in the Von Braunbach wine cellar. The "Alpentales Quintett" plays music from all directions with a double bass, trumpet, drums, vocals, Styrian harmonica and violin. The historic residence of the Teutonic Order is the perfect atmosphere for the concert. With exquisite wines and sparkling wine from Terlan wineries, Terlan wine soup and small appetizers. First held in 1886, the Merano Grape Festival delights with intriguing performances, delicious South Tyrolean food and a wide range of concerts (including some fairly experimental ones). Extremely popular, each year the Merano Grape Festival offers new surprises. With its diverse program focusing on culture, thanksgiving and local customs. Free admission. Keschtnriggl - Chestnut days. The Chestnut Weeks and the Törggelen in Merano and Environs have been a South Tyrolean Tradition for years. Chestnut days in Tesimo/Tisens - Prissiano/Prissian, Foiana/Völlan and Lana gets ist Name from the "Keschtnriggl" - a hand-braided basket for Peeling roast chestnuts. For three weeks, a colourful Event Programme is put on for visitors: Chestnut walks, torchlight processions from castle to castle and the "Keschtnfestl" feast in Foiana, with Music, farmers market, chestnut delicates and traditional crafts. The aromatic fruit with ist spiky Shell, grows particularly well in Merano and Environs, and during this green Event has pride of place in the specialities of traditional inns and prestigious Restaurants, as well as in exquisite chestnut products such as sweet chestnut hearts, aromatic chestnut beer, hearty chestnut stollen, tasty chestnut spraed, luxuriant chestnut cake, fluffy chestnut bread, the excellent chestnut panettone as well as the noble chestnut praline.

From 14th October to 5th November 2024, Feldthurns celebrates its autumnal cultural fruit: the chestnut. During the 26th Chestnut Weeks there is a varied program with guided tours, hikes, tastings and much more!. Discover pleasures of the chestnut from the rural cuisine and wine cellar at the period of the traditional "Törggelen". It is requested to arrive in an environmentally friendly way. The "Welsberger Kirta" starts with the festive parade of the Monguelfo music band through the village center. A request concert follows on the main square, where visitors can enjoy their favorite music. Food and drink are well catered for, with Tyrolean specialties, drinks and Kirtakrapfen. This event promises not only musical delights, but also a convivial get-together in a festive atmosphere.

KlangCastle Haderburg Experience a special evening in the medieval courtyard of Haderburg Castle. Live music and tasting of Salorno wines. In case of bad weather, the event will take place on Saturday, 26 October 2024 at 6.30 pm.

Experience the autumnal tradition of South Tyrol at the popular Törggelen Festival in St. Oswald! Enjoy traditional dishes, exquisite wines and live music. From 11 a.m. you will be served typical Törggelen specialties by the St. Oswald fire brigade. Various music groups play from 11:30 am.

During the Chestnut Festival "KESCHTNRIGGL", everything revolves around the "Tisner Kescht" (Chestnut of Tesimo). During the "KESCHTNRIGGL" period, menus in selected restaurants feature specially created chestnut dishes. The chestnut is the protagonist of numerous events during the Chestnut Festival KESCHTNRIGGL.

ONLY IN GERMAN! From the beginning of October, at the end of the grape harvest, until the beginning of the pre-Christmas season is "Törggelezeit". After leisurely walks through the golden autumn landscape, guests and South Tyroleans enjoy the products of the harvest, especially chestnuts and new wine (Sußer). On this week's hike we visit the Zmailerhof. With the bus we go from the center in Schenna up to the restaurant Pichler and then hike along the Ratscheidweg to the Zmailerhof and after the cozy stop further to St. Georgen. From the starting point you can freely decide whether to return by foot or by bus. A Törggelemenü and hearty music may not be missing of course! Difference in altitude: approx. 300m Walking time: approx. 2,5 hours Level of difficulty: easy/medium Important: ankle-high hiking boots, weather protection, something to drink.

Autumn is the time for Törggelen! “Törggelen” comes from the Latin word “torculum”, which means “winepress”. The fragrant smell of roasted chestnuts is truly special, and something which characterises autumn time. People meet together to enjoy Tyrolean specialities, the new wine (known here as “Susser”, from the German word for “sweet”) – and the delicious chestnuts, of course. Innkeepers, farmers, artisans and artists all proffer their wares on Raiffeisenplatz market square, so there’s plenty to see.

The ingredients are all there for a spectacular autumn in the castles of the Alto Adige Wine Road. From 20th October to 5th November 2024, several prestigious concerts will be held in the ancient walls of the towns that unfold on one of the most beautiful wine roads in Europe, combined with the excellent wines of this territory. Wine, the stories behind its production and great music will be the protagonists of the first edition of “WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road. The entrance to the concerts includes the concert itself and different tastings to discover the best of local wines that, together, constitute the Alto Adige Wine Road’s family.

A wine tasting of a special kind in the midst of the vineyards of Ritten and Bolzano. The winegrowers of Ritten and Rentsch invite you to enjoy their wine along the REBE wine trail. At five selected stations, the winegrowers offer for tasting those wines that grow in the respective altitudes along the wine steps between Rentsch and Signat. From the rich Lagrein to the aromatic Gewürztraminer to the spicy Kerner: a whole 13 grape varieties ripen on the 3.5 km long REBE wine hiking trail! At the end, a cozy chill-out awaits hikers and wine lovers at Ansitz Waldgries with culinary delicacies and the lively sounds. Program: 11 a.m.-4 p.m.: Wine hiking and tasting on the REBE wine trail. The REBE wine hiking trail: Along the 3.5 km long and easily walkable wine trail between Signat and Rentsch, hikers encounter 10 artistically designed installations by sculptor Filip Doss Moroder. They provide an exciting insight into wine culture and inform about the 13 local grape varieties. From Signat you hike down through the gentle wine hills to the viewing platform with a magnificent view of Bolzano, then on to the Loosmannhof farm, the small village of St. Justina and down to Rentsch to the historic Ansitz Waldgries winery.

In the centre of St. Michael | Appiano, more than 70 members of SelberGMOCHT present South Tyrolean quality and creativity. Enjoy the spring with music and culinary delights.

At the popular "Vieh- & Kramermärkte" you can find tasty and useful things. Four times a year, market stalls with local delicacies, everyday necessities and clothing await visitors.

10.00 am: Chestnut Market "Nigl" along the village street in Feldthurns with demonstrations of traditional rural crafts. Specialties from the farm kitchen and wine cellar, freshly roasted chestnuts and farm products are waiting for you.

The "Leonardiritt" begins on Saturday with a special evening dedicated to Ladin music. Gastronomic specialties will be served in the tent. On Sunday the festivities continue with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 09:00 a.m. and with the horse parade in honour of San Leonardo, patron saint of horses and riders, with horses and traditional costumes from South Tyrol at 10:45 a.m.. The festival continues in the events hall with gastronomic specialties and musical entertainment. The event will take place even in case of bad weather. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.
