How these advantages affect its taste and what needs to be considered in cultivation, harvest, and storage is revealed in this educational walk with apple farmer Stefan along the new wine and apple trail "bacchus & pomina" on the Mitterplattweg path. The tour is rounded off with a tasting of apples and apple juice at the starting point of the wine and apple trail.

Then we head uphill to Kampfl Kreuz. At this beautiful viewpoint, we take a short break. The conclusion of this educational tour is a grappa tasting in the historic cellar at Torgglerhof.

An insider tip of the first order is the Blütenhöfefest on Sunday, 13 April 2025, in which 15 traditional farms in Lana, Völlan, St. Pankraz and Tscherms take part. Visitors will get to know historic farms and artistic residences in an enjoyable way and savour typical farm products on site. Visitors who are fit enough to walk follow well-signposted hiking trails and hike from farm to farm, while those who are more leisurely can take the free shuttle buses to the farms from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. Please note: Not all courtyards are suitable for coaches (50-seater). Due to limited parking facilities, certain farms can only be reached by a small shuttle or on foot. Larger groups are requested to register with the farms. There are limited parking spaces for coaches in Lana, two bus parking spaces are located in Lorenzer Straße and three in Zollstraße in front of the ex-Pomus. In the event that the indicated parking spaces are already sold out, it is advisable to drop off passengers at the bus station and continue to the car park of the Exclusive discotheque in Meranerstraße Lana or to the Lana industrial area where there are additional parking spaces.

It is impossible to imagine Lana without the "Bäuerliche Genussmeile - Local Farm Deligths", the annual get-together during "LANA IN BLOOM" in spring. A true feast for the senses is the market day of the local farmers, who will once again offer their farm specialities on Saturday, 26 April 2025. Over 50 farmers, including local gastronomists, will occupy the Gries, in the car-free centre of Lana, and will be available to visitors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to taste, buy and enjoy. The top priority is best quality and unconditional freshness. The "Roter Hahn" (Red Rooster), the quality brand of the South Tyrolean Farmers' Union, ensures this. The restaurants in the pedestrian zone of Lana serve exquisite spring dishes and wild herb specialities according to old and new recipes and serve fine wines. As part of the "Schenna in blossom" series of events, the "Aperitivo lungo at Schenna Castle" will take place for the first time on 18 May. Visitors can enjoy castle charm and DJ beats with sparkling wine and delicious appetisers from the region from 5 to 9 pm. The entry is free.

From 26 to 28 May 2025, the new schenna e.motion event will be all about electric mobility and enjoyment. In addition to excursions with electric vehicles to the most beautiful places in South Tyrol, there will be a special supporting programme with an e-test and safety day in Bolzano, a tour of an e-plant, high-class enjoyment evenings and much more.

A gourmet menu with a panoramic view! The Berglertafel mountaineers’ dinner is a five-course menu of typical dishes from Tiers served in a stunning setting. The venue is Proa, a mountain pasture with a view of the Rosengarten. There is arguably no other vantage point in Tiers am Rosengarten from where you can see the famous alpenglow of King Laurin’s famous kingdom ... and all this while enjoying a fabulous gourmet menu.
