The village of Laas is known for its marble quarry, which attracts artists and students from many countries. But it is also known for its organic products such as fruit and vegetables and especially its juicy apricots. The Marble Village combines both at the "Marmor&Marillen" festival, with a beautiful market, food stands, live music, children's programme and where artists and sculptors exhibit their works. For more than 20 years, this cultural and fun festival has brought visitors closer to the ancient traditions of fruit growing and marble extraction in Laas.

In summer 2024, we invite you to the open-air cinema in Lichtenstern. On three evenings, we will present a captivating selection of films under the open sky. Enjoy balmy summer evenings in our idyllic ambiance and let yourself be enchanted by gripping stories and impressive visuals. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the film will be shown in the "Haus der Familie". We look forward to experiencing unforgettable cinema moments with you! Fancy mountains? Fancy flowers? At the farm Oberhof in St. Magdalena, we organise three different experience modules, all of which relate to the theme of Slow Food, culinary delights and flowers. The village festival in San Vigilio is a celebration for young and old that you should not miss. Here you can expect a colourful programme with numerous attractions and activities that have something to offer for every taste. Let yourself be carried away by the good mood and warm atmosphere while you taste local specialities and listen to music. The smell of grilled meat, fresh bread and cakes will fill your nostrils and whet your appetite. In addition to culinary highlights, there is also a rich entertainment programme.

Our orchardist will accompany you and tell you everything you need to know about this diverse fruit. As a culinary conclusion, you can expect a tasting of delicious apples and apple juice.

Did you know that wild plants are bursting with vitamins and minerals? On a short hike with herbalist Rosi, learn what wild herbs are all about and collect a wide variety of seasonal herbs, which are then creatively processed in a workshop.

Every Tuesday we meet us in the farm of the Schildhof Obergereuth. Together we prepare South Tyrolean bread with spices and wheat from our farm. While the dough is rising and resting, we visit the wheat field and our mill from 1831. The bread and three recipes are taken home. While the bread is baking in the oven, we dedicate ourselves to lunch: a generous and varied platter of cheeses from the organic cheese dairies Aignerhof and Schupferhof, various types of bread from our farm and our medlar jelly. Tasting of the apple aperitivo "Sparkling Rocco" at the Südtirol Products Shop

Sonia, a passionate pastry chef from Postal, invites you into her pastry shop. You can watch her at work and give her a hand in the production of homemade ice cream. Sugar and eggs, milk and cream, fruit and flavourings are ready to be transformed into the most delicious of summer creations. With exquisite marzipan, you can shape simple figures. The preparation of filled biscuits concludes your afternoon in Sonia's pastry shop. And as a reward, there's a scoop of your favourite ice cream to enjoy.

In August, as part of Dine, Wine & Music, local gastronomy serves up gastronomic specialities paired with excellent wines from the Eisacktal Valley in front of the dreamlike backdrop of the Brixen Cathedral. Local hosts prepare their finest summer dishes, and you can try them all. The evening is rounded off by vibrant live music.

Live music evenings in the open air: this year, the popular concert series will once again take place on the Piazza Burggräfler in Naturno.

Michael Hornstein and Oliver Hahn take you into a world of great emotions. Well-known pieces are the source material for improvisations by two musicians who can rely on each other unconditionally. No clichés are fulfilled here, but rather the carefully selected pieces are played intensively, always highly concentrated on the magic of the moment. Culinary delights and selected wines are served by the Hotel Stern.

On the mountain Putzenhöhe/Cima Pozzo there will celebrated a Mass (in german language) with the music band of Kiens/Chienes starting at 11.30 a.m.

Summer concert of the music band di Ega at the Mayrl Alm. The program of the musci band is colorful, from modern pieces to traditional marches. Look forward to a musical afternoon on the pasture.
