The Dorf Tirol Tourist Information Association and NiLa Events invite you to enjoy Summer Vibes and hits on the festival ground. Rousing songs and a great atmosphere are on the cards when “Die Draufgänger” rock the festival ground in Dorf Tirol on August 1st. The repertoire and unmistakeable style of what is currently Austria’s most successful party band features party tunes, hits and folk music, seasoned with a sizeable helping of humour. The party kicks off at 7 pm with the support act, “The Snoops” from South Tyrol, who will help heat up the atmosphere with their energy-charged performance. Then, at 9 pm, it’ll be time to clear the stage for the main act and put the spotlight on energetic summer vibes, cool drinks, delicious food and partying to the very best hits! The long shopping evenings in Silandro have become indispensable. The village of Laas is known for its marble quarry, which attracts artists and students from many countries. But it is also known for its organic products such as fruit and vegetables and especially its juicy apricots. The Marble Village combines both at the "Marmor&Marillen" festival, with a beautiful market, food stands, live music, children's programme and where artists and sculptors exhibit their works. For more than 20 years, this cultural and fun festival has brought visitors closer to the ancient traditions of fruit growing and marble extraction in Laas.

Dedicated to Tradition and Culture Under this motto, traditional Sunday morning pint events take place in all the villages of the Hinterpasseier. The goal is to bring visitors closer to the traditions and cultural richness of the region. Program: 10:00 a.m.: Holy Mass From 11:00 a.m.: mornign pint with the music band of Platt and traditional dance music in the afternoon. The Platt rifle company (Schützenkompanie) will treat guests to typical Passeier specialties such as grilled dishes, "Krapfen", and much more.

Every Tuesday, music enlivens the city center, accompanied by events and much more. It's a popular occasion for locals from Merano, who flock into town along with visitors from the surrounding area to enjoy the summer atmosphere. For guests of the city, it's the perfect opportunity to get to know Merano and its residents. Kids Corner: On the Passeggiata Lungo Passirio, a space directly in front of the Kurhaus is dedicated to children. Our fruit farmer will accompany you and tell you everything you need to know about this diverse fruit. As a culinary conclusion, you can expect a tasting of delicious apples and apple juice. During the guided tour of the "Ladinadistillery," visitors will be led through the entire process of creating Ladin distillates, from the careful handpicking of the finest fruits to their transformation into exquisite and velvety grappas. The young and dedicated team will present traditional production methods and explain how high-quality ingredients are turned into liqueurs that enchant the palate. "The early bird catches the worm"! The well-known saying takes on a whole new meaning during a sunrise hike to the mountain Fleckner (2,336 m). Admittedly, it takes some motivation to get out of bed so early, but early risers are rewarded. Join us when the first rays of sun touch the top of the mountains, the light illuminates the majestic mountain landscape of the Passeiertal Valley and let yourself be enchanted by the unique panorama. After the descent, we fortify ourselves at restaurant Flecknerhütte with a mountain breakfast featuring local products. Sonia, a passionate pastry chef from Postal, invites you into her pastry shop. You can watch her at work and give her a hand in the production of homemade ice cream. Sugar and eggs, milk and cream, fruit and flavourings are ready to be transformed into the most delicious of summer creations. With exquisite marzipan, you can shape simple figures. The preparation of filled biscuits concludes your afternoon in Sonia's pastry shop. And as a reward, there's a scoop of your favourite ice cream to enjoy.
