The diverse range includes honey, organic meat, bacon and sausage products, free-range eggs, pasta, goat's cheese, cheese products, organic flours, fresh organic raspberries and raspberry products. The volunteer fire brigade of Kiens organises the "Kloan Kiena Kirschta". Start: 6 pm or after the St Peter and St Paul patronal service - at around 7.30 pm. You can explore the plantages in the company of our apple experts and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. "The early bird catches the worm"! The well-known saying takes on a whole new meaning during a sunrise hike to the mountain Fleckner (2,336 m). Admittedly, it takes some motivation to get out of bed so early, but early risers are rewarded. Join us when the first rays of sun touch the top of the mountains, the light illuminates the majestic mountain landscape of the Passeiertal Valley and let yourself be enchanted by the unique panorama. Kaiserschmarrn is good! Cooking it is really easy, as long as you keep a few tricks in mind. In this cookery course, farmer Brigitte from Avelengo reveals the recipe for a delicious Kaiserschmarrn and shows children the tricks to achieve a fluffy result on the plate, so that they can easily recreate it at home. With Brigitte, you will not only learn the recipe for the original South Tyrolean Kaiserschmarrn, but you will also have a special farm experience, as farm products, such as eggs, are harvested fresh from the henhouse! During the summer months a celebration takes place in the villages of the High Apple Plateau, as the Naz-Sciaves Tourist Office organizes the Sunnseitn street party. The festival offers musical entertainment. Local delicacies will be served.

Typical market with local, gastronomical and hand made products in the heart of the village. South Tyrol is also known for its flavoursome and traditional cuisine. Many South Tyrolean specialities have their roots in the Puster Valley. In those days, when people still worked mainly in agriculture and were employed on their own farms, numerous traditional dishes and specialities were created. These recipes were later passed down from generation to generation and are still very popular with young and old today. Here in Val Pusteria/Pustertal you also have the opportunity to try Pusterer Tirtlan, Krapfen or Niggelen, you should definitely not miss out on this culinary delight.

The charming little market on the small Saint Anthony Square is just the right place to discover regional products and take them home with you. The local products are offered in a very special setting. The stalls are in fact set up on wooden buckets. Whether they are for yourself or for your loved ones - these gifts are always well received.

We propose cooking lessons based on simple ingredients. You can learn about our traditional Ladin cooking linked to local traditions. In a few hours, you can learn to cook and finally enjoy some Ladin specialities. The cook speaks Italian and German. 20 South Tyrolean wineries will present their high-quality South Tyrolean wines for tasting in the pedestrian area "Bën uní" in S. Cristina. Besides there will be served south tirolean dishes and good musical entertainment. This year with musical entertainment by the groups "Take Off" and "Handmade". The wine tasting "Sëira dl vin" in S. Cristina - an event for all wine lovers.

Experience living history and enjoy a glass of fine wine. Slow Food Travel is organising a wine tasting as part of Kuglkult on 5th July in Teis in the bunker at the Hill of the Holy Sepulchre. Wines from different local wineries will be available for tasting. And of course there will be a tasting of Slow Food Travel products. Price: to be announced soon.
