Discover the WineCulturePath of Marlengo. From the village centre, it leads along quiet village streets via the numerous wine farms. Along the way you can find information panels about the history and culture of wine as well as giant-size items used in winegrowing. After the walk follows a wine-tasting. The event takes place in German or Italian language. Reservation until wednesday, 5 p.m. Price: 18 € per person.

It's hard to imagine the MTB calendar without the cult event, and in 2024 the racers will be serving up an even more festive menu: At the Trail Hunt in Val Gardena on 31th of August, enduro fans will battle it out on a completely new course with four tricky challenges. For the 2-person and 3-person teams (incl. separateE-MTB classification), one fantastic trail follows the next on the Sellaronda and in the enduro mecca of Canazei. We definitely can't get enough of what Mother Nature serves us in the middle of the Dolomites. But we can eat our tasty dumplings that are on the menu at the end of the day at the dumpling festival - with live music, lots of cool prizes and, of course, the Golden Giant Dumpling, which is won by the team with the best average time. BUT first you have to find all the checkpoints with smart tactics, good orientation and maximum fun and pass the four dumpling challenges. With a view of the Sellagroup, the Sassolungo massif and the majestic Marmolada, the bike buddies go uphill in teams of 2 or 3 by cable car - and then downhill on the finest trails, from flowing to challenging, from freshly built routes to technical natural trails, there is something for everyone's taste. For the sixth edition, the hunters start on Ciampinoi on a completely new route that has even more trail delicacies in store. If you have a taste for it, you can register for the trail hunt from 15.04.2024 onwards. The price of 48 € (per person) includes a participant shirt, a beer and of course the dumplings. The lift ticket is NOT included in the start package! Choice between day ticket or 3-day ticket. Pawigl Bread Time. Experience the old tradition of baking bread on the farm. Where could this happen more authentically than in the Lananer mountain fraction Pawigl, on the southern slope of the Vigiljoch, where the mountain farmers still bake bread on their farms today, from 11.00 am. A short stop will be made at the Puntschiederhof farm, where we can taste apple juice and apples. Knödel, round dumplings, both savoury and sweet, are among South Tyrol's most popular culinary specialities and take centre stage in this festival taking place at Vipiteno/Sterzing in September. Savoury varieties are usually made from white bread kneaded with other ingredients and include Speck-Knödel, cheese gnocchi, spinach dumplings, while dumplings with apricots in the centre (Marillen-Knödel), strawberry and plum 'Knödel' are among the seductive dessert specialities. Of course the feasting will accompanied by entertainment including traditional Tyrolean music by local bands. Knödel spiecialities can be tasted in selected restaurants the week before and after the festival.

From Corvara to the feet of the Sella Group and down towards the Campolongo Pass: in the huts along this route you can enjoy good music and delicious local specialties. The festival Sauders begins at 10:00 with the Holy Mass in the church of Sauders. From 11:00 then starts the festivities at the Winklerhof with performance of the folk dance group Oberrasen and the young Schuhplattler from Villanders. Music and entertainment will be provided by the Natterer Inntaler and the Südtiroler Tanzlmusig, where all dancing fans will meet on the large dance floor. Delicious Törggele dishes will be on the table, a raffle will be organized and for children there will be a playground and trampoline on site.

Every year in September, the traditional Gsieser Almhüttenfest (Val Casies Mountain Pasture Festival) takes place in the Val Casies Valley, a highlight that attracts many hiking enthusiasts every year. The festival takes place alternately in the villages of Colle, S. Martino or S. Maddalena to give the many visitors the opportunity to get to know the numerous alpine pastures and the mountain world of the Val Casies Valley. This year the associations of Colle organise the traditional 37° Val Casies Mountain Pasture Festival on the Gallfallalm. Starting point: S. Martino/village centre. The festival begins at 10.30 am. with a Holy Mass. In the characteristic alpine huts, various local dishes are served. Rustic folk music & children programme. A unique and unforgettable celebration to end the summer.
