Backstage in the fruit cooperative CAFA in Merano

Discover the story of the South Tyrolean apple in Merano! This apple tour of Merano's fruit cooperative CAFA will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about our local fruit. After a short introductory film, you can explore the entire cooperative in the company of our apple expert Franz and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. To round off the tour there is a brief apple tasting session. Registration required: Until Monday at 4 PM online or at the Tourist Association Marling. The event takes place in German.

    The cooperative CAFA is located at Rennstallweg/ Via Scuderie 14 in Maia Bassa/Merano.
    Your registration is binding. Cancellations and refunds are possible up to 48 hours before the start of the event, writing to info@marling.info or by phone at +39 0473 447147. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the event will be cancelled free of charge. In this case, we will inform you by 6 p.m. the day before at the latest.
