The building was registered in the late 19th century as "house with courtyard and tavern". The restaurant business has always characterised the historic building which as early as 1786 proposed itself as an inn and retailer of traditional South Tyrolean cuisine. We can say that Casa al Torchio is the oldest restaurant in Bolzano. The restaurant offers today typical South Tyrolean cuisine and Italian gastronomic specialties created by the owners Ivan and Willy Waldner. Each dish is expertly structured to respect tradition with a touch of creativity and imagination. The restaurant has a capacity of about 90 seats, divided into 3 characteristic rooms on the 1st floor and 50 seats on the 2nd floor. In addition to lunch and dinner, you can also enjoy a good pizza. A selection of wines from the best local and national wineries and a selection of craft beers can accompany your dishes.

The miil restaurant in Tscherms is an old mill that was converted into a premium restaurant. Othmar Raich and his staff at the Kränzelhof wine estate are always on the lookout for new ideas, and their menu changes seasonally.

Elena Walch’s vinotheque is a special centre of attraction for all lovers of fine wines. Here you can taste our wines and take a few of them home with you if you wish. We present our whole palette in a comfortable atmosphere and answer your questions about the cultivation and vinification of the individual wines. New opening 2010! We don't serve gourmet cuisine because we love the authenticity of local flavors. We offer typical Ladin and Italian dishes that reflect tradition. We serve smiles and warmth. In our restaurant at Passo Campolongo, you'll find delicious dishes of local venison with polenta, spinach casunziei with melted butter and smoked ricotta, Spätzle in all varieties, hearty barley soup with tirtle, and tasty dumplings made according to tradition. Additionally, you can choose from a selection of other Italian and international delicacies, all thoughtfully curated in a weekly menu for your stay. And as for breakfast, they say it's the best meal of the day! Gasthof Kohlern's cuisine, with its full commitment to Bozen's tradition of special delicacies, has distinguished itself many times. Mushrooms, blossoms and herbs come from the surrounding woodland and meadows. Meat and vegetables come preferably from the farmers in the region. Everything is home-made.

Typical South Tyrolean dishes and the best creations of Italian cuisine are served in the elegant restaurant whose walls tell the Ladin myths through the paintings of Prof. Roller.

The Stadele Restaurant offers a simple yet sophisticated cuisine. Fresh ingredients, spicy ideas and a fine ambience make the Stadele a Meeting place for connoisseurs both at lunch and dinner. For some an insider tip, for many a regular restaurant.

The wine bar is open from 5.00 p.m. to 2.00 a.m. and offers more than 500 etiquettes.

You will find our wine bar in the Ansitz Schreckenstein in the wine village of St. Pauls in the municipality of Eppan. In fine weather you may take a seat in the inner courtyard with its Mediterranean flair, while in bad weather our parlours offer enough space.

Along the main road between the villages Bronzolo and Ora on the left side of the street there is the kiosk named Soini. Here you can find many products like local wine, fresh apples, homemade apple- and grape juice and elder syrup. We sell also speck, honey, cheese, dried fruits from the region. On request we prepare in our Bar Soini also breakfast or a snack.

The H. Lentsch Winery is nestled between mountains and orchards bordered by olive trees and ancient cypresses in the sunny south of South Tyrol. About half of the 20 hectares of the old estate are vineyards which thrive in optimal conditions thanks to their location on a large alluvial cone. Here, porous porphyry soil, which stores heat during the day and releases it again at night, and natural ice holes, create a unique, natural microclimate. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and the classic Lagrein find ideal growing conditions on the warm, sandy and stony soils. In harmony with the natural conditions, the vines have been carefully and laboriously tended and cultivated by hand for generations. Guided visits and wine-tasting at any time by appointment.

At Steinrösl, we appreciate traditional Ladin cuisine, but we love to reinterpret it, experiment, and surprise. We believe that we are what we eat, which is why we are always searching for fresh, healthy products and high-quality ingredients.
