The leisurely ski tour, which is mostly oriented to the south, is located in the middle of the Fanes-Senes-Prags natural park. The summit view at 2,307 m offers a view of well-known mountain peaks in the area: Drei Zinnen, Hohe Gaisl, Tofana, Monte Cristallo.

The breathtaking panorama and the marvelous powder-snow-descents make this easy ski tour very popular. It is mainly south-facing and leads over beautiful ski terrain. At the summit, the ski tourers are rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view.

Ascent: Just before Kaltenbrunn, the forest path on the right enters the Sennerberg valley. Follow this path on a moderate incline into the valley, always to the right of the little river. Leave the Simile and Sennerberg alp on the right. After 1 ½ hours you reach the junction near the alpine pasture Bärnfiechtalm, which is 100 m up on the left. Continue along the left side of the valley until you reach 1643 m, where you can easily climb the steep step to the left (summer path).

Now do not cross over to the pasture on the left, but diagonally right over beautiful terrain straight up to point 2064 on the map. Now left to a small ridge straight up to the flat ridge. Now briefly left to the highest point.

Descent as ascent.

! After heavy fresh snowfall, the valley up to the turnoff to the alpine pasture Bärnfiechtalm is avalanche-prone from the flanks!

Skiing technique: medium

The tour starts at the Mountain Restaurant Tarres Alp (1,935m) along the path no. 15 in the direction of southeast up to the quit areas underneath the Hochjoch pass. The rampant path leads up to notch of the gran Ladro (2,612 m). From there goes a path 210 meters down to the Lakes of Covolo and then first up to the Gran Ladro of Val d'Ultimo (2,712 m) and afterwards to the Gran Ladro of  Venosta Valley (2,730 m), both excellent viewpoints. It follows the exceedance down to the notch of  Gran Ladro, from there the same way back to Tarres Alp.

A beautiful ski tour with a rewarding destination: fantastic views of the Ortles and the Königsspitze.

This ski-tour starts at the car park Lake Gioveretto, from there you follow the path no. 10 to the managed Lyfi mountain hut. You pass the mountain hut on your right and continue trough the forest by following the same sign until the junction of paths. When you reach the Lyfiknott, a wonderful snow-covered winter landscape awaits you! From there the way is steep and demanding, but when you reach the Lyfi peak, you have a wonderful view over the snow-covered Venosta Valley.

The entrance to the Langental valley is located in Selva Gardena and runs through a pleasant walking and hiking path with views of the Stevia massif and the walls of the Puezgruppe on the left, as well as the Chedul Mountains and Col Turond on the right. Along the path you can find the mystical Silester Chapel.

The hike starts at the Kühhof car park above Latzfons. Head northwest on forest trail over the open Alpine meadows passing through sparse larch and pine forests to the Klausner Hütte mountain hut (1923 m). Continue along the hiking trail passing the Rungger Hütten huts and Plankenbach brook. Also known as the Kreuzweg (Way of the Cross), the trail then crosses a pine forest before winding its way up a steep slope to the pilgrimage church and mountain shelter at Latzfonser Kreuz. Continue up trail no. 9. Finally, the route leads to the Kassiansee mountain lake and the Kassianspitze summit (2581 m) slightly beyond. The return is back the same way as the ascent.

This ski tour is one of the most popular in the Upper Vinschgau and offers powdery firn snow until late spring. Around the striking border mountain you can enjoy the view over an overwhelming high mountain landscape.

This hike takes you past Totenkirchl Chapel and picturesque Totensee Lake to the peaks of Villandro (Villanderer) Mountain.

This tour is one of the "easier" ski tours in the Mazia valley. Especially in drifting snow, however, this tour should not be underestimated. But it is always worthwhile: at the end of the steep summit slope you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view.

Once a year a spectacular racing weekend takes place in the rear Val Martello. 12 events so far; but they are all individual. This is one of the special features of the Marmotta Trophy, because thanks to its ideal location in the middle of the Ortles-Cevedale group with its many 3000m peaks, this ski touring race offers countless track possibilities.

One of the classics in Martelltal Valley: glacier tour with fantastic views of the triumvirate of Königsspitze, Monte Zebru and Ortler as well as the Martelltal Valley Zufall Peak and Monte Cevedale.

Martelltal Valley is one of the most beautiful ski touring areas in South Tyrol and an insider tip at the same time.

Conquer this famous three-thousander from Val Martello Start at the Stallwies inn in Val Martello.

Ascent: Follow the forest path flatly into the valley. The ascent is from the valley (1625 m) over a steep ridge directly to the alpine pasture Schluppesalm (1825 m). At the alp continue in a south-easterly direction.  To the left of this into a small saddle (2050 m). On the left edge into the valley and slightly to the left of steep terrain on a moderate incline to below the large summit slope (2300 m). This slope becomes steeper and steeper, is unstructured and can only be done in absolutely safe conditions. It is best to follow the left edge until you reach a small ledge at 2450 m diagonally to the right, very steep (40-45°). Continue steeply up to the ridge (2510 m). If not already further down, then here is a ski depot. Over the narrow ridge to the right to the summit with cross.

Descent as ascent. In the spring you can also ski down from the former Jaufenhaus to above the alpine pasture and cross into the valley.

! Crampons and ice axe are recommended in spring.

Skiing technique: medium

From Pederü, the road will take you up past the Fodara Vedla pastures. From there, the Sennes inn is only an hour’s walk away.

PASSO DELLE ERBE 2006 m – CIALCIAGN 1695 m – MONTE FORCA GRANDE 2574 m from Cialciagn | approx. 880 m | approx. 3.5-4 hours Description: From Passo delle Erbe, descend to Cialciagn on the street and proceed to the peak through forests and meadows. In late spring, Cialciagn is also accessible by car. Return to Passo delle Erbe along the same cross-country skiing slope from Cialciagn. Route with spectacular views; for advanced skiers only. Please note: On some maps, Cialciagn is often referred to as Gunggan.

Easy ski tour for beginners on the Rosskopf leisure mountain at Sterzing / Vipiteno. Start by the Rosskopf mountain station to the Sterzingerhaus mountain hut and on to the biotope Kastellacke. Turn on left here and beneath the crest upwards to the Rosskopf summit.

From Pederü, follow the road to the Fanes pastures. Turn left to get to the Fanes inn and right for the Lavarella inn. Our suggestion: Walk on to the Limo pass (15 minutes‘ walking distance from the Fanes inn) to enjoy a breath-taking panoramic view out onto the „Fanes realm“.

Start at Zans (1,680 m), continue on a gravel road number 33 on to Kirchwiesl until you reach hut Gampen Alm. From there you continue to your destination Bronsoi (2,300 m) (last part of the track in switchbacks)

This hiking trail starts from the fraction Daunei, from where you reach the Juac hut. Continuing you get to the Firenze refuge (closed in winter) and from there down to the cablecar Col Raiser. Along the whole path you can enjoy the wonderful panorama.

Difficult ski tour to the Telfer Weissen mountain summit. Start by the Rosskopf mountain station to the Sterzingerhaus mountain hut and furtheron to the Vallming alpine village. Along the valley in direction to the crest, passing by a weather cross until the eastern summit. On feet over the jag to the main summit (2565m). Pickaxe and crampons recommended! The skiing area of Reinswald all thursdays evening from 6 to 10 p.m. offers night time ski touring on the slope "Plankenhorn" with starting point from the valley lift terminals in Reinswald till the panoramic Sattele peak (2.460 m). Avalanche report: http://www.provinz.bz.it/lawinen/home.asp

From Meransen, a varied trail leads mostly off-piste up to the mighty summit cross of the Gitschberg. Together with the AVS Vintl branch of the Bressanone section, this route was defined by the ski area operators and marked out in the terrain. All piste tourers are asked to follow the specified route and to respect the issued rules of conduct.

This is a challenging glacier-tour in the rear Val Martello and counts to the most famous ski-tours in South Tyrol. But this tour should just be gone by good snow conditions. You need belt and rope. The tour takes 4 hours.

On Meran 2000 the back country skiers may ascend on the "Kuhleiten Route" to the Kuhleitenhütte Mountain Hut on 2,362 metres.
