Our guesthouse opened in 1969 and was named after this grape variety. As pioneers of the variety, our father and grandfather planted it on the slopes of Kranebitt and Neustift. Since then it has become one of the most highly valued wines in the Eisack Valley.
You can enjoy the peace and unique view of the Karspitz and Lake Radlsee over a delicious ice cream sundae or a homemade apple strudel and an excellent Italian cappuccino from our sun terrace.
Our kitchen team headed by Chef Elmar Wild is renowned for its creative, tasty cuisine which always uses natural and healthy ingredients. Stop off at the inn Lechnerhof, situated on 1300m, is a must. You can enjoy the view from our terrace while tasting our specialties. Homemade dumplings and cakes are awaiting you.
The restaurant Geisler on the Plose welcomes you to its comfortable parlor and on the sunny terrace. The restaurant offers a wide choice of dishes as well as traditional Italian dishes. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays we serve fresh fish dishes. You can also enjoy some tasty pizzas cooked in a wood oven for lunch and dinner.
Our family has been running the inn at the valley station of the Plose cable car for more than 25 years. Here we offer our guests a wide selection of pizzas, both at lunchtime and in the evening, as well as typical dishes of South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine. These range from the Stodlburger to Italian pasta dishes or the classic Zwiebelrostbraten to Kaiserschmarrn.

Get pampered in the rustic knight's cellar deep beneath the houses of Chiusa/Klausen, on the sun terrace with its picturesque views of the Isarco/Eisack river esplanade or right in the romantic alley of the historic centre. Our typical regional delicacies, varied menus and our wide range of Italian specialties leave nothing to be desired. In addition, choose from our great selection of quality wines or try our home-brewed "Gasslbräu" beer . Experience true pleasure at the Walther von der Vogelweide restaurant.
Guests can enjoy great views of the surrounding mountains and the whole Eisack valley from the sun terrace of Ahner farm. Inside, the panelled dining room provides a cosy setting. The delicious first course dishes are a highlight. Open all year round. Prior reservation desired.
You will find us on the Plose, the local mountain of Brixen, where the Eisack valley displays its natural beauty and heaven and earth are particularly close. Dark forests and soft meadows are our only neighbors. The Trametsch mountain hut – led by Roswitha and Andreas Ellemund- is above Plose valley station and is easily accessible to visitors by car (large car park), as well as to hikers and skiers. As restaurant located right at the bottom of the mountain, we are open all year round. In addition to daily activity, our restaurant in Brixen at the Plose is available also for diverse celebrations and events.
