In the course of the project "Respect the Mountains", the certified fountains of the municipality of Prags/Braies were collected and published. The fountain at the local recreation area is one of the fountains in Prags/Braies, which reflects this project. The fountains invite you to fill up reusable bottles with fresh and high-quality drinking water.

This fountain is located in the town center of Bronzolo/Branzoll at the Piazza San Leonardo square in front of the historic parish church "San Leonardo".

This fountain is located directly in the centre of Tramin, in S. Giacomo.

In the course of the project "Respect the mountain" the certified fountains of the municipality of Tramin/Termeno were collected and published. The project raises awareness for environmentally friendly, respectful and responsible behaviour on the mountain. The fountains invite you to fill up reusable bottles with fresh and high-quality drinking water.

You can fill the water bottle you have brought with you at the designated drinking water points. Fountains with the ‘Mindful on the Mountain’ badge are fed from a certified drinking water source. So you can be sure that you are drinking clean and fresh water.

Marked refill spots are available in the villages and on the walking trails for visitors and locals to refill their own water bottles.

According to the city law book of 1604, one of the two fountains in Brixen with running water back then was located “by the Erhardskirche church”. In all likelihood, that fountain was located in the same spot where today there is still an old fountain with a beautiful basin carved from a single piece of stone and sculpted in the typical polygonal shape.
