The project “Respect the mountains” aims to raise awareness of environmentally friendly conduct among visitors, locals and tourism professionals in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fountain is located directly at the Oswald von Wolkenstein village square in the centre of Seis am Schlern with free and barrier-free access.

The drinking water fountain "Oberdorf" is located on the Via Cascata / Wasserfallweg  at the water reservoir "Salten" in the direction of the Partschins waterfall. The well is accessible free of charge.

The well is located in the Höhlensteintal valley, a few 100 metres south of the war cemetery, next to the AVS hut.

You can fill the water bottle you have brought with you at the designated drinking water points. Fountains with the ‘Mindful on the Mountain’ badge are fed from a certified drinking water source. So you can be sure that you are drinking clean and fresh water.
