    The heart of the house: Restaurant Terra Only a few steps from heaven you'll find the highest-located starred restaurant in Italy. Everything you get at Terra - The Magic Place is home-made. The cuisine of gourmet chef Heinrich Schneider is modern and of subtle finesse. The dishes are characterised by products from South Tyrol and farmers from the immediate vicinity. These unique gourmet highlights are matched with the best wines, recommended by the certified sommelier Gisela Schneider, sister of Heinrich. The reconstruction works in the restaurant, the heart of the house, will be concluded in May 2014. Now, the restaurant will also have its own name: "Terra". Especially the most discerning guests can reserve the exclusive "Chefs Table", a table located at the entrance of the kitchen, directly served by the chef and characterized by a special treatment.     So new and already a great success! The “Der große Restaurant- und Hotel-Guide” (restaurant and hotel guide) has chosen our 1897 restaurant as the best restaurant in South Tyrol for 2018. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 3 spoons and Gault & Millau gave it 3 of its coveted hats. “Local products for our guests from all over the world” sums up the philosophy of our chef Michael Mayr. He is assisted by 3 sous-chefs: Karin Ennemoser, Klaus Burgstaller and Roman Vidovic.     Kuppelrain is framed by trees and shrubs, you will find us directly at the small cozy station of Castelbello which has been modernized lately. Since the spring of 2013, is son Kevin Trafoier in the kitchen next to the stove and Jörg has his own style complements the creative dishes of our house and further developed. For some time, daughter Natalie Trafoier is now fully entered the family business. As a trained pastry chef and Patissière can expand our extensive range in our Bistrot perfect.
