UNIKA's Long Night 2024 Concert by the South Tyrolean singer-songwriter Max von Milland. Starts at 8:30 PM - Doors open at 8:00 PM Max von Milland, the South Tyrolean singer-songwriter, takes you on a musical journey that traverses the entire world, yet always carries South Tyrol in his luggage. From September 12th to September 15th 2024, the 30th edition of UNIKA will take place in Val Gardena, where local artisans show their skills. The prestigious UNIKA Art Fair, once again hosted in the tennis hall of Ortisei -Roncadizza, proudly celebrates 30 successful years. Over a hundred artists have presented their works to a critical and art-interested audience during this time. The vernissage, is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 at 6.30pm.

--La sciorta de Saslonch-- From Monte Pana, the route leads to the pastures of Plan de Cunfin and then continues along a spectacular switchback path that heads into the magnificent saddle, between Sassolungo and Punta delle Cinque Dita. The view is dominated by the imposing rock faces. Once here, follow a slightly ascending path to the Rifugio Vicenza, where lunch is planned. --Jita de viers de Seceda-- The panoramic hike starts at Col Raiser at 2.107 m. Accompanied by a local guide, the hike goes uphill - past rustic mountain huts on the edge of the Puez-Odle Nature Park – until reaching the top of Seceda at 2.500 m. Here the view is simply breathtaking: a souvenir photo is absolutely not to be missed. --Sun Col Rodella-- The moderate, but nevertheless magnificent hike starts from the centre of Selva di Val Gardena. From there you take the cabin lift to the Ciampinoi top station. Through the “Stone City” you reach Passo Sella and after a short walk the Col Rodella, where the fascinating 360° panorama leaves indelible memories. The way back is the same as the way there until you reach Passo Sella. --Sun Seceda cun l’E-Bike-- The tour starts in Selva and leads first through the forest to Juac. Cycling along an enchanting little lake and several clearings, you pass by the Rifugio Firenze and continue uphill until Seceda, the highest point of the tour. From there, you ride down on a forest road to the famous church of S. On September 14th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the inauguration of the new thematic trail "Valtoi – Kingdom of the Senses" will take place at the entrance to the Vallunga (Valtoi). Surfaces, Digitally Interwoven Analog image-making processes like painting, drawing, traditional printing, and celluloid for photography and film have been set aside in just a few decades in favor of a deluge of digital images. Digital visual worlds—whether obviously artificial reconstructions or simulated representations of whatever stands before our lens—have become masquerades, often with a hallucinatory edge. Artistically, Andreas Linder’s photographic work extracts seemingly irrelevant yet entirely novel episodes from the digital image recording process. His work is rooted in the fundamentals of our perception and memory, which interfere with image reception, creating a surprising corrective and opposition. Andreas Linder (*1977) graduated from the Ortisei Art School (Sculpture Department), earned a degree in Communication Design from ADB Academy of Design in Bolzano, now the Free University of Bolzano, and a Master’s in "New Technologies for the Arts" from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. His artistic research is dedicated to the interface between image acquisition, reproduction, and reception. Linder teaches at the Cademia Art High School in Ortisei. From there, you walk via Tramans to the start of the “Saslong” – the FIS Ski World Cup downhill race, which is held every year in December. Here you can admire the Dolomite peaks and the whole mountain scenery, as the vantage point is truly first class. Now hike down until you reach the Saslonch Hut. -- Jita te Puez -- The hike through the Nature Park Puez-Odle with the Catores guides starts at the top station of the Dantercepies cable car – a terrace with an amazing view of the Passo Gardena and the Sella massif. Following the path, you get to the Cir and the Crespëina Pass. The hike continues on a barren plateau, passing the Crespëina lake until reaching the Rifugio Puez. The splendid descent back to Selva di Val Gardena leads you through the marvelous Vallunga with the picturesque S. --Sota la Odles-- The exciting hike in the heart of the Puez-Odle Nature Park starts at the Col Raiser cable-way. Starting from the top station, a forest path leads to the newly built Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage viewpoint Mastlé – S. Cristina/Val Gardena, which is located at 2.200 m. The path beneath the vertical Fermeda Towers leads then to Pieralongia and after to the higher Seceda Alp. Get ready for a beautiful walk and a somewhat mystical experience. --Mont Sëuc-- Electric mountain bikes are a great way to get around quickly and reach high altitudes in a short time. During this impressive tour you explore the zone around Monte Pana and Alpe di Siusi, which is well known as a ski area, but also as a paradise for hikers and cyclists. The tour starts at the Val Gardena Active office in Selva. Heading first towards La Selva and Monte Pana, from there to Saltria on the world-famous Alpe di Siusi. --E-bike Val Duron-- The clockwise Val Duron tour develops on the bike path towards the east. Leave the bike path once you’ve reached Plan, continue on the path across Plan de Gralba heading towards Passo Sella. At the height of the Mountain Resort only a few metres are left to the highest point of the tour (2,215 m) and the access into Val di Fassa. In the descent towards Canazei and, ultimately, Campitello, you can use a piece of the Infinity Trail before taking the mountain bike path 908 into Val Duron and continue up to Passo Mahlknecht. --L luech da paur -- On a farm there is always something happening: here the diversity of nature can be lived day after day. When you visit the Tiscion farm, you will see the horses, cows, hens, ducks, goats and sheep in their stables, stroke the rabbits and hear some stories about the daily life on a mountain farm.
