10 years Christmas village Ortisei Ortisei, has been enchanting its visitors during the Christmas season since 2014. It has become a beautiful tradition: Ortisei's pedestrian area transforms into a true fairy-tale landscape adorned with Christmas decorations that captivate visitors of all ages. Along the pedestrian zone, typical wooden huts welcome visitors. In an impressive manner, the Christmas village Ortisei combines the deeply rooted traditions of the Val Gardena with the elegance and exclusivity of the offerings of the hut operators. Selva di Val Gardena is getting ready for a very special Christmas. The idyllic village of Selva, in the heart of the Dolomites, at the foot of the majestic Sella mountain group, is, at 1550 metres above sea level, the highest town in Val Gardena. With its direct connection to the legendary ski tour 'Sella Ronda', it offers 500km of perfectly prepared slopes for every ski lover. The Hockey Club Gherdëina is the ice hockey team of the Val Gardena. The HCG is one of the teams with the most appearances in Serie A and is one of the oldest Italian ice hockey clubs. Since last year, there has been a second team playing in the IHL Division I.
