    La pêche en lac & en rivière dans le Sud-Tyrol

    Le Sud-Tyrol regorge de ruisseaux, de rivières et de lacs de montagne et constitue donc une région attractive pour les amateurs de pêche. La truite est présente dans la plupart des eaux sud-tyroliennes. Alors que les habitants de la région doivent être détenteurs d'un permis de pêche et passer un examen (Fischerprüfung) pour pouvoir pêcher, les vacanciers qui viennent en vacances chez nous ont la possibilité d'acheter ce permis. Celui-ci est valable dix ans. Il est également nécessaire de disposer d'une carte de pêche pour la journée.     The Fishing Sports Club Bruneck/Brunico was founded in 1963. The sport-fishing area is one of the most well known fishing areas in the whole valley and a lovely meeting place for sport fishers during the summertime.

    In order to fish in Italy or South Tyrol, you first need to buy an Italian fishing licence. This costs 40 Euros (identity card or passport is necessary) and is valid for 10 years in the whole of South Tyrol and Italy.

    In addition to the licence, you also need a day ticket. For the stretch of water from Quellenhof to St. Leonhard, the cost is 50 Euros or 70 Euros per day. The day tickets can be obtained at the Tourist Office of St. Leonhard and St. Martin.

    It is not allowed to take „marble trouts”.

    The Lago Gioveretto is an artificial lake in the Ortler Alps in South Tyrol. The reservoir has an area of 70ha, situated at an altitude of 1850m in Val Martello and is crossed by the river Plima. The storage capacity is 19.6million cubic meters. The reservoir is situated in the Stelvio National Park and is used for generation of energy. The associated hydroelectric power station is located in Lasa.

    From June to September you are allowed to fish with a state licence. You can buy the ticket at the keeper of the dam.

    In the rivers of Pustertal Etsch, Eisack, Rienz and Ahr live 35 several fish types. But also in barrier lakes, ponds and mountain lakes you can have a magnificent feeling of fishing a trout. To protect the type of fish you have to hold the closed seasons and the maximum. There are several places where you can get a day ticket and some information about fishing in the place.

    At the lake Kalterer See there are numerous activities and sports to do. Fishing is only one of the activities that are allowed at the lake. There are many types of fish you may catch: luce, perch, carp, tench, eel, bream and some more.

    To be allowed to angle at the lake Kalterer See you first have to buy the Italian fishing licence (from the age of 8, the prerequisite is the presentation of a valid identity card or passport). Only by owning such a licence you will be able to purchase a day ticket to go fishing at the lake. Both the licence and the day ticket are available at the Tourist Association of Kaltern (cash payment only).

    Hobby anglers, who want to enjoy their holidays far from the noise of the city, will find ample opportunity for fishing trips in Lana and Val d'ultimo many tranquil lakes, streams, and rivers. The best fishing spots for anglers are at the S. Vigilio on the Schwarze Lacke lake and the lakes around Ulten.

    But don't forget: Fishing is permitted only with a current state permit for tourists and a day card. The license is obtained at the Tourist Office Lana and surroundings and is valid for ten years in all of Italy.
