In our restaurant in Alta Badia you can taste several house specialties: from Ladin and rustic tastes to traditional Italian and international cuisine. While you are eating you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape through the windows of the restaurant. Almost all products and ingredients come from the area, especially seasonal dishes are prepared with fresh products from the local market. Our bar lies in a very calm position, near to the various starting points of the most famous excursions and walking paths.

In the bar and Wine Cellar Emoziun at Hotel Steinrösl you can find a large selection of aperitifs and a wine list with more than 300 wines. Many ot these are also biologic and biodynamic.

In winter restaurant at midday, with typical delicacies like polenta, mushrooms, eggs & speck, the famous "Gran Risa-Pasta" as well as the slims salat-dishes. Expecially for not-skiers it is the right place to meet with the friends of the slopes because they can arrive without put off the ski boots; just eat and than quickly re-start for the ski tour.

Ladin cuisine with the most typical dishes like "turtres, cajincì arjtis, panicia" based on local products. Open all year on reservation.

The dishes our Head Chef Norbert Egger and his team recommend are always prepared on the spot with fresh ingredients. Our specialties are national and international dishes that only use ecologically grown products (such as meat products of pork, lamb, veal or milk products) from our farmers, as well as dishes savoured with fresh herbs from our own garden in the summer.

Our pastry chef offers besides all typical confectionery a vast assortment of own creations even as takeaway.
