As the way to someone’s heart is through his stomach, we at the “Alter Schlachthof” select our products almost exclusively from local farmers and selected suppliers from the immediate vicinity. Because only using fresh, natural and high-quality ingredients, we are able to create dishes for you which are delicious and healthy at the same time. This applies to South Tyrolean classics as well as forays into the international cuisine, vegetarian and vegan variations and titbits which are suitable for guests with food intolerances.

The Mair am Bach Hotel cuisine is very refined; together with the typical South Tyrolean delicacies we offer dishes from international cooking tradition. We offer many South Tyrolean and international delicacies, together with true gastronomic threats which will make every gourmet happy! Our cuisine is also famous for the fish-based dishes. The pleasure of a good meal is completed by a wide choice of vinage wines.

Our kitchen conjures up successful combinations of South Tyrolean specialities, Mediterranean and international dishes. An extensive choice of first-rate wines and our attentive service ensure that our restaurant leaves nothing to be desired.

We delight our guests with our delicious dishes inspired from the traditional South Tyrolean cuisine with Mediterranean influence, consisting mainly of our high quality agricultural products. You can fish yourself trout and rainbow trout in our natural pond. The meat and the milk from our cows, calves and sheep that spend the whole summer on the mountain pasture, is healthy and very tasty. Fresh salads and all kind of vegetables and fruit come directly from our garden. The remaining milk is processed within our farm to tasty cheese specialities.

The Pizzeria Monika is located in the heart of South Tyrol on the sunny side of the Eisack Valley. Several hiking trails lead past our house. The cosy restaurant is the perfect place to stop for a quick snack in the bar or a special celebration in the dining room. A play corner is available for our younger guests.

Our veranda as well as the garden with children’s playground are particularly popular with cyclists, pilgrims and guests. We offer snacks, drinks and freshly squeezed juices with our seasonal fruits.

The Plonerhof Restaurant Inn in Gereuth is famous for its excellent cuisine and it makes use of locally grown produce (milk, vegetables, meat) as well as game and Tyrolean style specialties. It is the ideal meeting point for family and company events. In the autumn it is the ideal place for "Törggelen" with steaming hot chestnuts and new wine!

The "Waage" bar in the south of the city is one thing above all: a meeting place for everyone. And at any time of day. We welcome guests in the hotel's Pizzeria "Die Mühle" in a traditional and cosy ambience. Here we serve numerous tasty variations of the traditional Italian dish. The homemade pizza from the wooden stove features only the best and freshest ingredients, which guarantee for a unique culinary experience. Our restaurant in Bressanone is the meeting point for those who love to eat well, chat, celebrate or simply to live and let live. The local site in the arcades offers a unique atmosphere of "traubenwirt" with its frescoes, ancient columns and arched ceilings. The ideal place to enjoy Tyrolean specialties. For true gourmet in South Tyrol you can enjoy a dish at midday light of our delicious appetizers, or in the evening a prestigious surprise menu to delight your palate.

The skilift in Terenten offers perfect skiing conditions and a stunning view of the surrounding landscape from early December to early March. The terrace of the skibar is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the wonderful winter atmosphere.

The Radlseehütte (2284 m) in the Sarntal Alps is located in a beautiful location at the Radlsee east of the Königsangers peak (2436 m).

The host will personally look after your physical wellbeing in Hotel Waldrast. He prepares delicious dishes from traditional and national cuisine, which are served in the Tyrolean "Stube". Taste some of the traditional South Tyrolean dishes and also Italian cuisine in Hotel Waldrast.

Alte Schmiede: This is the name of our café with ice cream parlour in Rio di Pusteria, twice awarded for the number two raspberry and chocolate ice cream in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Not only appreciated by guests, but also by many locals, who gladly spend their afternoons on the terrace and in the winter garden in front of an inviting cup of ice cream, a slice of homemade pie or a coffee. Children are always happy to be here: in addition to fresh delicacies, they have a large playground, where they can play to their heart’s content. That way, parents can sit back and truly relax.

We attach great importance to a light and healthy kitchen. Regional products such as fruit, goat cheese, alpine cheese, milk, game, lamb, turkey and beef are sourced from small farmers in Lüsen. The Lüsnerhof kitchen offers a rich selection even for the most spoiled palate.

The menu offers the Alpine and Mediterranean cuisine of the region in all its delicious variety. The culinary delicacies on offer range from spaghetti to knödel (dumplings) and from Mediterranean dishes to local recipes.

In our Restaurant you can choose from our menu daily; we serve both local and Italian specialities. You are also welcome to sit together on the terrace on an afternoon and enjoy a hearty local “Brettljause” – a snack platter with cold meats and cheese.

Directly at the lake lies our idyllically situated restaurant. Comfortable lounges and a charming garden terrace invite to various celebrations. We especially recommend our local specialties like dumplings, "Schlutzkrapfen" or "Tiroler Tris" as well as pasta dishes, grill or our well known Wienerschnitzel. Home made apple strudel, cakes, tiramisù as far as the eye can see let the afternoon fade in a very pleasant way.
