Irrespective of whether you are looking for a suitable gift or just something for yourself, the special atmosphere of the abbey shop contains numerous contemplative and valuable items.

t is our particular aim to offer you items that are associated with the monastery and the culture and traditions of the Vinschgau Valley. There is a wide range of spiritual literature and music, with candles, crosses and rosaries and shelves full of beautiful arts and crafts and local products: a treat for the spirit, heart and senses.

The Weltladen Schlern is located near the centre of Castelrotto and is run by volunteers from the surrounding area. It is the youngest among the 16 Fair Trade Shops in South Tyrol and opened its doors in November 2019. 

The concept of the shop is to support disadvantaged producers in the Global South through fair working conditions, wages and social projects instead of exploiting them in the current economic system. Imported food, cosmetics and handicrafts that can be bought in the shop are all Fair Trade certified. Selected South Tyrolean products offered in the shop promote small regional cycles and strengthen small-scale farmers.

The atelier of Gerhard Ploner offers a rich selection of both cribs and nativity figures, as well as secular, sacral and modern figures. Sculptores to individual customer concerns are made as well.

The store (Oberstadt 69 - Apostelkeller) in Klausen is open from April to December.

Due to my passion for the mountains and especially for alpine mountaineering, I spend a lot of time in nature in summer and winter.
Again and again I see the most wonderful and unique creations and whims of nature.
 The most beautiful ones are often found in inaccessible places and the recovery is usually difficult.
In spite of this, or perhaps because of it, it gives me pleasure to take such pieces and put them in the limelight.
 This hobby soon became a passion and finally the company Mannart was born.

For over 130 years, DOLFI in Val Gardena has been bringing wood to life with artisan skill and proudly made in Italy. Here you will find nine wooden houses, all decorated with different collections. For children, we have an outdoor play area and a corner for wood painting inside. On the second floor, there is the outlet with heavily discounted sculptures, nativity scenes, and items. Additionally, you can enjoy our lounge bar and experience the magical Christmas atmosphere all year round at our permanent Christmas market. The Grocer's shop Despar Masoner is located in the village centre of Collepietra. 

In the farmer's shop you will find good, healthy and homemade products from Villnöss Valley. Various products are on sale in the village centre of St. Peter (Viel Nois Guest House). Open all day from Tuesday to Sunday; the shop is closed on Monday. 

The woodcarver is a traditional craftsman who can carve figures and other objects out of wood. In Castelrotto there are woodcarvers who master their craft. They use traditional wood cutting tools such as saw, plane, file and carving knife. With their handicraft techniques they create unique works of art, made of the best wood. Different traditions and techniques form the basis for a variety of interesting figures and objects. Often the objects are sold as souvenirs, decorations or as gifts.

The company Reichegger produces wood carvings sculptures, sacred and profane art and sculptures, high quality. The wooden sculptures from Falzes are small, precious works of art.

Villabassa is a tranquil village with attractive shops: Grocers, bakery, butcher, newsagent and tobacconist, pharmacy, sports shop and fashion boutiques offer an interesting range. You can also watch cobblers, weavers and wood carvers at work and purchase their products.
