On the occasion of the Euregio Museum Year 2025, dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the Tyrolean Peasants’ Revolt of 1525 – a historic turning point that continues to raise essential questions about power structures, social justice, political participation, and the potential for societal change – the Hofburg Bressanone presents a two-part exhibition project that sets history and the present in a dialogical relationship. The two exhibitions, 1525-2025. Irruption-Subversion-Renewal (29 March – 31 August 2025) and ETÀ, ÉTATS (12 September 2025 – 11 January 2026), explore the theme of societal transformation from different perspectives. They share a central conceptual motif: rupture as a starting point for movement, encounter, and new forms of social thinking. ETÀ, ÉTATS links the father-son relationship between Robert and Johannes Bosisio to the socially relevant question of intergenerational dialogue. In the spatial and conceptual design, the two artists meet in the center of the exhibition area, while their independent positions are situated at opposite ends of the sequence of rooms. At this central point of encounter, the focus is less on comparison and more on exchange: a dialogical coexistence aimed at connecting different experiences, ways of thinking, and perspectives.

Europe’s largest monastery complex in Tirol/Tirolo. Founded in 1142 by the Bishop of Brixen/Bressanone at the intersection of two important routes - the Brenner and the route to the Pustertal valley - the Augustinian Neustift Canons Regular Monastery was recognized, among other things, as a hospice and rest area for pilgrims. Today the Monastery makes a name for itself as a place of agriculture, culture and education. The Augustinian Neustift Canons Regular Monastery in Vahrn/Varna is the largest Monastery complex in Tirol/Tirolo. After almost 10 years, the “Brixtown Music Night” concert series is finally back! Twenty-one musicians will present an evening full of music with a wide and varied repertoire of different musical styles. The event is organized by the Jugendhaus Kassianeum association, which is responsible for managing the Astra cultural center. Klaus Ramoser, founder of the original Brixtown Music Night, is the artistic director. Brixtown Music Night 2025 will take place on November 7 and 8, 2025, starting at 8:00 p.m. at the Astra cultural center in Bressanone.

The jury consists of experts that are both artists and technical experts. South Tyrolean artist Elisabeth Oberrauch is well-known for her artworks made from handmade paper. In this exhibition, she displays highlights from her previous work and presents new creations inspired by pharmaceutical and medical themes. Her artistic works accompany and support the Brixen Pharmacy Museum on its journey towards a harmonious combination of architecture, art and pharmacy.

This makes a visit to the old town of Brixen an experience for the whole family. "Brixen for Kids", the year-round free childcare programme, is a special initiative aimed primarily at the local population and all visitors to Brixen's old town. Our year-round free offer invites children between the ages of 3 and 11 to have a good time in professional care. "Fejdjux ASV" is responsible for the care and the programme, which is adapted to the season. An initiative of: City Marketing Brixen, the trade and service association (hds), Bressanone merchants

Local and seasonal, straight from the producer. Farmers from the surrounding area bring their own farm produce to the Brixen old town centre. Depending on the season, fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, eggs, flowers, honey, homemade jams and pasta sauces, refined distillates and organically grown herbs as well as wooden handicrafts are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From April to October, local associations prepare fresh tirtln (fried stuffed pastry) on site on a weekly basis. This means that every Saturday is also a culinary experience. This market has been a popular, lively meeting place for locals and guests for 30 years.

10.00 am until 6.00 pm: Chestnut Festival „Keschtnigl-Sunntig“: Market and Törggelen through the village of Feldthurns with local specialties from kitchen and wine cellar as well as freshly roasted chestnuts. Entertainment will be provided by the music groups “Karerbrass,” “Feldthurner Tanzlmusig” and “Kühberg4,” as well as the Garner Schuahplattler.

An adventure in the company of a hunter: you will set out early in the morning and explore meadows and forests together in search of wildlife. This easy hike will be a great opportunity to learn from our hunters many interesting things about the local flora and fauna... and to enjoy a small rustic snack at the hut at the end of the experience.
