The Musa Leggera has one flaw: she always wants to do more and do it better. And the first part of the 2025/26 Season (a season full of big numbers) is striking proof of this ongoing commitment: two legendary, spectacular musicals in their Italian versions for a joyful dive into the fabulous fifties: "Sette spose per sette fratelli" and "Cantando sotto la pioggia" (both also with special encore performances outside the subscription); the national hit of the year ("Sapore di mar") evoking summer loves, carefree moments and timeless melodies from the sixties; a brand-new show about the musical icons of another decade overflowing with hits ("80 voglia di 80"); and finally, two delightful and original gems in the spirit of cabaret and music "Derby Cabaret" (featuring the return of the great singer Luisa Corna) and "Giradischi e papillon". To mark the end of the project "Uitnom musiziert", a special concert will be held at the cultural house in Uttenheim. Various groups, bands and soloists will perform, all of whom have at least on member who lives in Uttenheim. Whether through origin, friendship or personal history - Uttenheim connects - and their music sounds great!

On Saturday, 15 November 2025, at 8:30 PM, the Merano Civic Theatre will be transformed into a stage of great emotions: during the gala concert of the international singing competition “ARIA D’ORO”, the best young talents will perform for an enthusiastic audience. After several intense competition days full of passion, expression, and vocal virtuosity, the finalists will take the stage – the artists who impressed the jury with their extraordinary stage presence and musical depth. Accompanied by piano and moderated presentation, the audience will enjoy a varied evening spanning opera and operetta to art song, oratorio, and musical theatre. The concert will also feature the awarding of the prestigious prizes: the main “Aria d’Oro 2025” prize, category awards, and the special promotion prize for young talents from Tyrol, South Tyrol, and Trentino, highlighting the competition’s strong regional ties and supporting promising emerging artists on their career path. The gala concert marks the spectacular finale of a competition that transforms Merano into an international center of vocal art for several days. A modern dance show that combines Oriental dance, Bhangra (Indian folk dance), modern, contemporary, hip hop, and pole dance.

Cross-border choir project South Tyrol - East Tyrol The idea behind this cross-border choir project is to foster friendly and professional relationships between the vocal ensemble "AllaBreve" (Brixen/South Tyrol) and the vocal ensemble "Cantarmonie" (East Tyrol). Natalia Lukina, a Ukrainian-born choir director and voice coach, has led the vocal ensemble "AllaBreve" since 2019. Lukina lives and works in Carinthia and is on friendly terms with the directors of the East Tyrolean vocal ensemble "Cantarmonie," founded in 2022. The choir is led by Gernot Kacetl and Alois Wendlinger. Among the works to be performed is the "Cantus Missae," Op. 109 in E-flat major for two four-part choirs by Josef Gabriel Rheinberger (1839–1901). The mass was composed in January 1878, dedicated to the newly elected Pope Leo XIII, and premiered on January 1, 1879, in the All Saints' Court Church in Munich. The work draws on the compositional techniques of early classical vocal polyphony and is considered one of the most important purely vocal masses of the 19th century. Free donation

The opening of the St. Catherine's Week 2025 will be celebrated with a concert by the Vinschgau World Music group, Flouraschworz. The band performs their unique music, which combines Vinschgau poetry with modern sounds. The concert starts at 8 p.m. in the Schluderns Cultural Hall and will be followed by refreshments. With our small autumn concert series, we would like to once again present the natural and emotional intelligence of music that is played and mostly composed by ourselves. Our journey takes us through different musical worlds, which this time are particularly inviting to explore. This time, we have the honour of welcoming a few more guests from abroad, with musicians from three continents joining our regional talents. For the first time, there will also be an interdisciplinary dance concert, which – perhaps representative of all the music presented – bears the fitting title Earth Song: Hear the song of the earth and sing along! St. Cecilia Matinee Celebration of the Holy Mass Sunday, November 16, 2025 | 10:15 a.m. In honor of Saint Cecilia, the Parish Choir and the Mölten Brass Band will accompany the service in the parish church of Mölten.
