Forty years have passed since the first edition of the Bolzano Dance Festival. Four decades of uninterrupted programming for an investigation of today's dance in the round, in step with the times, styles, contaminations and technological evolutions. During the alpine summer on the Brugger Alm, the alpine fest with cheese cutting is of course a must! Once again this year, a great festival atmosphere awaits you on the alpine pasture from 10.00 am! From 10.00 a.m. it starts with a morning pint and Weißwurst. The music will be provided by the duo Norbert & Walter from the Schnalstal Valley. The Brugger Alm team is looking forward to seeing you!

Every year at midsummer the witches dance at the Passo delle Erbe and spread a feeling of magic. The so called wizards accompany all the spectators up to the foot of the Sas de Pütia, where the wiches dance and are up to mischief. There are also old farmers’ traditions, stories, songs, fun and action for kids and gastronomical delicacies

On 27th of July 2024, the church feast of Ceves will take place again. It starts at 9:30 am with a festive mass, followed by a performance by the group "A3". Food and drinks will be provided. The village committee cordially invites everyone!

In its 75th anniversary year, the South Tyrolean Choir Association is once again organising its traditional choir and voice training week in Burgeis. This year, 100 singers from all over the country will meet at the ‘Fürstenburg’ technical school for agriculture and forestry from 22 to 28 July to sing together. This year's director is the German church musician and former conductor of the Regensburg Cathedral Choir Roland Büchner, assisted by Luka Juric. A wide range of literature from all styles and eras will be performed. In Age of Content (LA)HORDE - the triad Marine Brutti, Johathan Debrower and Arthur Harel - attempts to question our physical and emotional relationship with the abundance of content and simultaneous realities that characterise the contemporary world. The performance is conceived as an exploration of different realities through bodies in search of new horizons. The dance unfolds as a cavalcade through a set created as a fresco of paradigms, in turn traversed and pierced by bodies that confront, clash, challenge, attack, fight, flee, embrace, desire and love each other.
