In a magical winter landscape, the talented ski instructors showcase impressive skills and spectacular performances that will amaze both beginners and advanced skiers. The glowing torches of the participants create a festive atmosphere as they gracefully descend the slope. The New Year’s Concert of the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, conducted by Alessandro Bonato, features famous waltz and polkas from the Viennese tradition in the splendid setting of the Kurhaus, offering a refined and musical start to the new year.

The hour of birth of the alphorn is and will probably remain unknown. When we talk about an "alphorn" today, we mean a long, straight wooden horn bent at the bottom. For centuries, horn instruments of different materials and shapes have been made and played on all continents.

As early as the 16th century, the alphorn served not only as a call and signal horn, but also as a toy for alpine shepherds and has become firmly stablished in the Alpine region in recent decades, with its own style of playing and dialect.

The Wiener Johann Strauss Concert Gala 2026 in Merano, the world’s most famous Strauss Gala. The K&K Philharmoniker of Kendlinger celebrates the music of Johann Strauss & Co. with passionate mastery and unmistakable Viennese charm. Their fresh and modern interpretations have long been a benchmark for excellence. Since 1996, the world’s most famous Strauss Gala has welcomed over 1.3 million spectators from 19 countries, a unique experience. Under the direction of Maximilian Kendlinger, son of the orchestra’s founder Matthias Georg Kendlinger, the K&K Philharmoniker’s performance is described as “a concentrated display of precision, breathtakingly beautiful” (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung). From January 11th to 18th 2026, Alta Badia becomes the stage for Cocktail Week, an event that combines creativity, flavors, and the magic of the Dolomites.

Eight evenings, eight locations, eight different interpretations of a territory told through cocktails. Each venue offers unique drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, crafted by the skill of bartenders and inspired by the mountains. Ingredients, stories, and atmospheres celebrate Alta Badia in a contemporary way.

Cocktail Week is much more than enjoying fine drinks: it’s about experiencing Alta Badia in the evening, with music, entertainment, and social moments. It’s an opportunity to discover the vitality of the villages, be surprised by emotions, and merge tradition with innovation in a unique journey.

A full week to toast to the beauty of the Dolomites and create unforgettable memories.

On the occasion of the second evening of the Alta Badia Cocktail Week, Hotel Cristallo celebrates the region and Alpine nature through two signature drinks that reinterpret the aromas, flavors, and atmospheres of the high mountains in a contemporary way. An event that invites guests to experience the sensory world of pastures, forests, and mountain huts, immersed in the timeless beauty of the Dolomites.

Here are the two drinks you can enjoy:

Alpine Glow (alcoholic):
This cocktail is born as a tribute to the mountain huts of Alta Badia, where time slows down and the mountains speak through silence, rock, and pasture grass. A soft, savory, and balsamic sip that captures the authentic essence of high altitude.

Ega de Gana (non-alcoholic):
This drink evokes the sensation of the pastures and forests of Alta Badia, where one is surrounded by balsamic aromas and the lightness of mountain air. A floral, fresh, and aromatic cocktail that embodies the purity of alpine nature.

For the occasion, guest bartender Elisa Favaron from Cucu’ – Bassano del Grappa will join as a special guest of the evening.

The evening will be accompanied by live music from Giorgio Porfirio Bovero.

On the occasion of the third evening of the Alta Badia Cocktail Week, Hotel Recort pays tribute to the history and roots of the region with the concept “Lift Recort”, a narrative journey that connects past and present through the legacy of Colfosco’s historic lift systems. The Ladin word recort, meaning “memory,” becomes the key to telling the story of how these lifts shaped the early tourism of the valley and contributed to the local identity. A celebration expressed through mixology, where traditions and recollections take the shape of sensory experiences.

Here are the two cocktails featured during the event:

Belvedere (alcoholic):
Inspired by the former Belvedere lift, which once passed near the area where Hotel Recort stands today, this cocktail evokes the conviviality of a time defined by genuine relationships and simple gestures.
Tequila Casamigos Añejo, a symbol of friendship and togetherness, blends with a homemade Vermouth based on Schiava, recalling rural life and agreements sealed with a handshake, often celebrated with a glass of wine.
A sip that brings warmth and memory together, shining light on the community spirit that marked the village’s early days.

Colfosco (non-alcoholic):
Dedicated to the village’s very first lift — still in operation today — Colfosco reflects the enduring bond between tradition and modernity.
Seedlip Garden 108 offers herbaceous, botanical notes reminiscent of Alpine meadows and Dolomite forests; Lapsang Souchong tea adds a subtle smokiness that evokes distant horizons; balsamic apple cider vinegar, a local product, enriches the drink with a touch of home.
A cocktail that symbolizes continuity, renewal, and local identity.

The evening will feature the guest bar Bar is the Name, special guest of the event.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Blaustelle Trio, creating an atmosphere where history, music, and flavors blend into a single experience.
