It's going to be magical - at the Christmas radio programme! A charity event organised by Radio Holiday, the Bruneck Youth Service and the Bruneck Kronplatz Tourismus. The proceeds go to the Regenbogen children's charity. Lots of music, lots of guests, lots of fun.

Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, re-adapted and accompanied by live music and carols is the most famous Christmas story. It is the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an old miser, a man who, in order to react to the pain of his own fate, has long since found his remedy: to get rich. His one great fortune, the one that will save his life, is to have had a friend: Jacob Marley. Marley in the form of a spirit offers to show Scrooge the evil he accomplishes, the beauty now lost and the beauty still possible. In his tale, Dickens seems to suggest this: it is important to recognise the true values of life, to be cheerful, to indulge one's heart, to be with one's loved ones. Heart, to be with our loved ones always and especially at Christmas. All this will be brought to the stage by the narrative voices of the Piccolo Teatro mixed with pieces played live by musicians to accompany the audience towards the most magical time of the year.

Starting at 5:00 PM, the vocal group 'Helios' fills the Christmas market with festive melodies. With their harmonious voices, they create a warm atmosphere amidst the winter mountain landscape, inviting everyone to share in the spirit of the season."

During the "Partschinser Advent", not only traditional alpine Advent pieces and melodies will be performed, but also contemporary and modern compositions.

Ensemble Inégal Gabriela Eibenova & Lenka Cafourkova, sopranos Jonathan Mayenschein, contralto Virgil Hartinger, tenor Tomas Selc, bass Adam Viktora, conducting Jan Dismas Zelenka: Missa Nativitatis Domini J. S. Bach: Magnificat BWV 243 Works by Jan Dismas Zelenka and J. S. Bach will be performed at the Advent-Christmas concert by the Czech Ensemble Inegal under the direction of Adam Viktora. Zelenka was a contemporary of Bach and Händel and is considered the most important Bohemian master of the Baroque period. Zelenka's Christmas Mass presents a vivid picture of the sonic splendor of the High Baroque in Dresden. Bach intoned the text of the Magnificat with all the splendor and weight of late Baroque content, creating a unique, cohesive and powerful work. It is one of Bach's most popular vocal works.

The "Nolsner Children's Choir," accompanied by Verena Rauch on piano, will perform a selection of traditional and modern Christmas songs. Sterntaler Christmas Market, Capuchin Garden in Lana, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.
