Oops – The Light and Music Show That Enchants When a little dreamer loses their balloon, a magical journey begins—through light, music, and boundless imagination. Oops is an immersive spectacle that transforms the façade of the Hofburg Brixen into a living canvas, brought to life by 10 powerful projectors. Accompanied by an original soundtrack from electronic music legend Giorgio Moroder, this visual journey invites audiences into fantastical worlds full of wonder and delight. A show that amazes all ages—and supports a good cause: for every ticket sold, a donation of €1 goes to UNICEF. Follow your balloon. And prepare to be enchanted.

Toni Servillo, Giuliana De Sio, Vinicio Marchioni, Alessandro Haber, Teresa Saponangelo, Silvio Orlando, Gabriele Lavia, Neri Marcorè, and many other leading figures of the international theatre scene are part of the 2025/2026 season of the Teatro Stabile, taking place in Bolzano. This year’s season includes 12 subscription events and a special performance featuring Stefano Massini.

Last year, ECM celebrated the release of yet another gem in its catalogue. Outpost of Dreams was reviewed by the press worldwide as a true masterpiece, once again paying tribute to and honouring the extraordinary performer Norma Winstone. Norma is truly a piece of modern jazz history. She approached jazz by listening to Ella Fitzgerald and Oscar Peterson on the radio, and in just a few years she became a true emblem of British jazz, her name long established in the pantheon of African-American music. There is no need to write about her talent and the beauty of her vocal introspection. Alongside her is Kit Downes, one of the best English pianists of recent decades. All this makes for a truly enchanting evening of delicacy, grace, elegance, intimacy, light, total intensity and rich creativity. The octogenarian Norma Winstone and the young Kit Downes demonstrate that there is no generation gap in music, but rather that the singer's rich experience and the pianist's fresh creative vein trigger a creative mechanism in which the incessant and equal dialogue between the two is capable of generating only grace and evoking a place where dreams find a voice, a tangible human dimension.

And the first part of the 2025/26 Season (a season full of big numbers) is striking proof of this ongoing commitment: two legendary, spectacular musicals in their Italian versions for a joyful dive into the fabulous fifties: "Sette spose per sette fratelli" and "Cantando sotto la pioggia" (both also with special encore performances outside the subscription); the national hit of the year ("Sapore di mar") evoking summer loves, carefree moments and timeless melodies from the sixties; a brand-new show about the musical icons of another decade overflowing with hits ("80 voglia di 80"); and finally, two delightful and original gems in the spirit of cabaret and music "Derby Cabaret" (featuring the return of the great singer Luisa Corna) and "Giradischi e papillon". The church day in Schluderns is also celebrated during St Catherine's Week! It starts with a church day mass at 10.00 am in the parish church of Schluderns! With our small autumn concert series, we would like to once again present the natural and emotional intelligence of music that is played and mostly composed by ourselves. On Thursday, November 27, 2025, the final concert of the KulturKontakt Eppan concert season will take place at the Ansitz Reinsperg in Eppan. The guest performer will be the internationally renowned bandoneonist Mario S. Pietrodarchi, who will present a program combining film, dance, and South American passion together with a string quintet. The program will feature works by Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Roberto Di Marino, and Astor Piazzolla—composers whose music is characterized by emotional expressiveness and a close connection to film and movement. The program ranges from Morricone's well-known themes from Cinema Paradiso, Mission, and C'era una volta il West to Rota's homage to Federico Fellini, Di Marino's Suite mediterranea, and Piazzolla's tango classics Oblivion, Adiós Nonino, and Libertango. Mario S. Pietrodarchi graduated with honors from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome in 2007 and has been performing worldwide ever since. He has worked with Andrea Bocelli, Angela Gheorghiu, and Michele Placido, among others, and is considered one of the outstanding bandoneonists of his generation. The 2026 concert season will also be presented during the evening. After the concert, all guests are invited to a reception. In addition, the Heinrich von Mörl Scholarship will be awarded. Fresh, authentic and open to anything that sounds different: Popcorner, a seven-piece ensemble from the Fassa Valley, is bringing new energy to the Ladin music scene. With an exciting mix of their own Ladin songs and international covers, they inspire with their youthful sound, strong voices and audible enthusiasm. Their first album, ‘Utar piata’, was recently released. Founded in 2023, Popcorner deliberately goes beyond mere cover versions: workshops on songwriting and music production have given rise to a new generation of Ladin pop music – modern, emotional and stylistically open. The name ‘Popcorner’ has a double meaning: ‘pop’ means ‘child’ in Ladin – but at the same time it is reminiscent of the pop music genre that forms the core of their style, and “corner” means ‘vagabond’ – a tongue-in-cheek allusion to their musical freedom.

Echoes of Marabi brings South Africa and Switzerland together in an impressive album that blends jazz, blues, and memories. At the center are Yonela Mnana, one of South Africa's most impressive voices and pianists, and Benedikt Reising, a Swiss saxophonist with a flair for sonorous depth. They are accompanied by the Soultee Sisters from Katlehong—once opera singers, here as a three-part vocal ensemble that lends depth and atmosphere to the compositions. The album addresses South Africa's present, celebrating history and resilience. The title refers to Marabi, a form of jazz from Johannesburg in the 1930s – influenced by ragtime, jazz, and African roots. An echo from the past – with the sound of today.

The Merano Christmas Markets will officially open on 27th November at 5 pm. The opening ceremony on the terrace of the Kurhaus will start the Advent season, rich in atmosphere and tradition.

From 5.30 pm, the Sunshine Gospel Choir will accompany the evening with its engaging and festive music.

The Christmas houses will remain open until 7 p.m., inviting visitors to stroll among the lights and scents of Christmas in the historic centre.

This winter, we are excited to once again offer an exclusive ice skating course in collaboration with the talented figure skater Sara Furlan. With her many years of experience and passion for the sport, Sara will inspire you with the fun and beauty of ice skating. The courses are divided by age groups: Children aged 3–5: 16:00–17:00 Children aged 6 and older: 17:00–18:00 Sara recommends attending all the sessions to get the most out of the training. However, if you can only attend a single session, that is also possible. Christmas Celebration on December 20th: As a special highlight, Sara invites you to a small Christmas celebration on December 20th at 5PM. The children will have the opportunity to show their parents what they’ve learned. Afterwards, we will enjoy a festive drink together at the snack stand.

The Music village band "Feuerwehr-Musikkapelle St. Magdalena" invites to the traditional “Katreini Concert” at 08:00 pm at the multi-purpose hall in St. Martin in the Gsiesertal Valley. Admission is free; voluntary donations are welcome. The programme includes the pieces: Ceremonic Festival (Martin Scharnagl), Kleine Ungarische Rhapsodie (Alfred Bösendorfer), Die Sonne geht auf (Rudi Fischer), Unsere Reise (Fäaschtbänkler), The Story (Phil Hansreth), Woodstock – Non Stop, Von Freund zu Freund (Martin Scharnagl), An Tagen wie diesen (Die Toten Hosen) and Auf der Vogelwiese (Josef Poncar).

They are the luminaries of a cappella dialect music, and for some, even the most beautiful boy band in the world. More than 12 years have passed since the vocal ensemble first moved out of their rehearsal room in Vienna's Hermanngasse to make the world a happier place with their enchanting dialect singing. Hundreds of concerts testify to their thirst for adventure and a healthy dose of pioneering spirit. They have already been nominated twice for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award. With a proudly displayed shyness, they sing their not-so-harmless lyrics, sparing no one. They have released five albums full of songs, many of which – such as Knedl, Wegana, Elektroradl and Alles Tango – have already achieved cult status. In autumn 2024, the new album SEHR SOGAR marked another milestone in the band's history. The new record is as colourful, cheeky, loving and cool as the band itself, sometimes hip hop, sometimes schlager or even big pop, sometimes flashy, then again quite modest, incredibly diverse and yet seamless.
