The autumn custom of Törggelen has a centuries-old tradition in South Tyrol. After the successful harvest in autumn, the farmers of the area met and celebrated with new wine, cabbage and smoked meat, doughnuts and chestnuts. To this day, Törggelen is considered by South Tyroleans to be an expression of conviviality and joie de vivre. Traditional Törggelen at the village fountain in the centre of Naturno from 14.30 - 17.30 with roasted chestnuts, new wine and music. In October a flea market takes place at the same time at the town hall square from 9 am - 5 pm.

TangoX3 was founded in 2005 by Luca Degani (bandoneón), Leonardo Sapere (cello), and Giannantonio Mutto (piano) – as a natural continuation of a musical journey already begun into the evocative world of Argentine tango. Today, the ensemble performs as a quartet, joined by Rino Braia on double bass. Tangox3’s artistic identity is deeply shaped by the works of Astor Piazzolla – the composer who infused tango with renewed depth and dramatic expression. Over the years, the ensemble’s musical scope has broadened to embrace classical tango as well, incorporating into its repertoire some of the most iconic pieces of the Guardia Vieja, reinterpreted with fresh nuance and emotional resonance. Alpen classica festival is the first Euroregional classical music festival. It includes a Euroregional orchestra academy with its own orchestra, the Alpen classica euregio Symphonieorchester, 21 chamber music concerts in Trentino-Alto Adige and Tyrol, and the first Euroregional festival dedicated to the saxophone, Alpen classica saxfest. This year, the saxfest will take place from October 30 to November 2 at the major seminary in Bressanone and the music school in Bressanone. International teachers will be present at the event, as well as 44 participants from all over the world and from German and German and Ladin speaking South Tyrolean music schools. Free donation

On Sunday, November 2nd from 5 to 6.30 pm, the Hotel Café Alpenrose invites you to a cozy Speck Aperitivo. The Italian soprano Roberta Invernizzi studied piano and double bass before concentrating on her vocal studies under the direction of Margaret Hayward and continuing to devote herself to the baroque repertoire with Emma Kirkby and Evelyn Tubb. Roberta Invernizzi has performed in numerous concerts and operas throughout Europe and the USA, including in Rome, Milan, Vienna, Prague, London, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Prague, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. She has performed with the following ensembles: la Cappella de la Pietà dei Turchini, Il Giardino Armonico, Archibudelli, I Sonatori de la Gioisa Marca, Accademia Strumentale Italiana, Retablo Barocco, Il Complesso Barocco. She has sung under the direction of Giovanni Antonini, Anner Bylsma, Christophe Coin, Alan Curtis, Diego Fasolis, Antonio Florio, Ton Koopman, Gustav Leonhardt, Andrew Parrot and Jordi Savall. In January 1998, she was invited by Gustav Leonhardt to sing at the opening concert of the New York Collegium. Roberta Invernizzi has recorded for the labels Opus 111, Virgin, Stradivarius, K617, Don Giovanni, Stradivarius, Symphonia etc. and has been honoured with numerous awards, including the Diapason d'Or, Choc, 10 de répertoire. Since 1997 Roberta Invernizzi has been teaching baroque singing at the Centro di Musica Antica Pietà dei Turchini in Naples, where she lives today. Gambe di legno Consort was founded in 2001 by Paolo Zuccheri, Francesco Galligioni and Francesco Baroni. The aim of the project was to create an instrumental ensemble dedicated to the vast repertoire for the viola da gamba, ranging from solo pieces for viola to a ‘consort’ with several instruments. The ensemble is regularly invited to perform in concert series focussing on the performance and rediscovery of composers whose works are often unjustly neglected in libraries and archives. Gambe di legno is also active through collaborations with museums and cultural centres to create a strong link between the arts and make them accessible.
