The association Forum Musik Caldaro/Kaltern organizes the advent concert at the parish church in Kaltern.

This young couple brings great enthusiasm and love to their music. Their repertoire features harmonized arrangements and interpretations of popular pop, jazz, R&B, and funk songs.

with the string orchestra Arcana in the Common Oberbozen at 5 p.m. Works by: G.B. Sammartini, O. Respighi, L.E. Larsson, G. Holst, J. Rutter. Soloist: Egon Lardschneider, horn. Conductor: Paul Bozzetta. A passionate amateur violinist’s request for a string ensemble inspired Lilly Osann to establish a string orchestra. In spring 2022, a dedicated group of ambitious amateurs from various professions and age groups came together. Most of them had learned to play their instrument in their youth, and all share a love for music and the joy of making music together. The Arcana String Orchestra is conducted by Lilly Osann, former violinist of the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra (1992–1997), the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano & Trento, and the Bolzano String Academy. She shares the musical leadership with Paul Bozzetta, a trombonist with conducting training under H. Obkircher, E. von Marschall (Düsseldorf), and G. Buitenhuis (Enschede, NL), with extensive experience as a conductor for various musical ensembles and bands.

Contributors are the St. Nikolaus Afing Church Choir, MirStimmen, 4Clarissimi, and Young Beats. The church choir would be happy to receive a voluntary donation.

An inspiring evening of classical music featuring compositions by Felix Mendelssohn, Edvard Grieg, Henri Dutilleux, Cécile Chaminade and Giuseppe Verdi awaits at the Cultural Centre of Deutschnofen.

The performers Sabine Ranigler (soprano), Andrea Mairhofer (flute), Othmar Trenner (piano) and Katharina Thöni (piano) present a varied and refined programme that spans from Romanticism to modern classical works.

Nativity scene exhibition, opening at 5.30 p.m. with a blessing ceremony for the newly built nativity scenes at 6 p.m. The exhibition will then be open until 8 p.m.

In the Christmas card workshop with Maria Jocher, kids can become little artists, stamping, printing, and decorating their own unique cards. A proud and joyful way to get into the holiday spirit!

Brennet Liab enchants with festive brass melodies, bringing the pure Christmas spirit directly to the christmas market Algund – an experience for music lovers and families alike. The group is made up of selected musicians from the Burggrafenamt area around Merano and is complemented by a Styrian accordion. The four brass players explore a wide range of musical genres, including folk music, jazz, and classical pieces. They perform with joy and passion, a enthusiasm that hopefully spreads to the audience and makes the festive spirit of Advent come alive.

Between tradition and innovation, they create a unique sound that goes straight to the heart. – TRIO HALMA Hannes Tschurtschenthaler, Alessandra Garavello, Magdalena Hintner Since 2020, this trio from the Upper Puster Valley has united three soloists with a shared passion for Classic Crossover music. With emotive arrangements of world-famous melodies by Ennio Morricone, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, and Udo Jürgens, they create a touching blend of classical music and contemporary sound art. – BLECHZINNEN XS Founded in 2010, the group brings together eight musicians from the Puster Valley who share a passion for refined brass sounds. In a smaller formation – as Blechzinnen XS – they perform as a quintet. Voluntary donation in support of a family in need from the Puster Valley!

A cozy evening in the church of Saltaus/Saltusio invites everyone to join in Advent singing. The Jägerchor Passeier (hunter's chorus from Passeiertal Valley), the Bläsergruppe Saltaus (brass ensemble of Saltaus/Saltusio), and the Frauenchor
St. Martin (women’s choir of St. Martin/S. Martino) perform traditional Advent and Christmas songs, creating a contemplative and festive atmosphere. Get into the spirit of Advent and enjoy musical highlights together.

During the Bolzano Christmas Market, bands and musical groups will brighten the days with traditional Christmas melodies.
Taking part as well are the choirs of the Parish of St. Augustine, the church located in the Gries district, bringing a warm and authentic atmosphere to accompany visitors into the spirit of Advent.

During Alm Advent, the Fane Alm transform into a cozy place filled with festive anticipation on all Advent Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors can look forward to mulled wine, South Tyrolean specialties, a lovingly designed children’s program with crafting and storytelling, as well as stalls offering homemade products.

Each Advent Sunday features its own special highlight:

On the 1st Sunday of Advent (30/11/2025), an alpine devotion takes place at 2 pm, accompanied by a four-part choir and then the brass ensemble of the Valles music band.

On the 2nd Sunday of Advent (07/12/2025), St. Nicholas visits the hut at 2 pm, with musical accompaniment by the Terento men’s choir.

On the 3rd Sunday of Advent (14/12/2025), the brass ensemble of the Rodeneck music band provides contemplative music.

The 4th Sunday of Advent (21/12/2025) is accompanied musically by Thomas Mahlknecht and Johannes Oberhofer

For centuries, horn instruments of different materials and shapes have been made and played on all continents. As early as the 16th century, the alphorn served not only as a call and signal horn, but also as a toy for shepherds and has become firmly established in the Alpine region in recent decades, with its own style of playing and dialect
