Pre-Christmas Events in Terento.
We want to bring children, families and guests closer to rural culture and traditions on the topic of Christmas. The trail leads from the decorated village centre to the town hall with cookie baking for children, to the crib exhibition and to the Christmas market. Handicraft products are offered at different stalls on the playground. The Christmas experience continues along the trail lit by torchlights and candlelight with special light effects to the "Stockner Waldile" forest, where rural specialities are offered in traditional huts. Fairytales and stories for children are told around the campfire in front of a big Christmas crib and a petting zoo.

Gaudi’n Snow is coming to Rosskopf! On December 13th, 2025, the Rosskopf ski area in Sterzing turns into a snowy party zone – skiing with friends during the day, followed by DJs, great vibes, and après-ski in a unique atmosphere. And on February 7th, 2026, the event continues at the Alpin Chalet Rosskopf with another day full of music, fun, and winter energy. Perfect for anyone who loves combining winter, mountains, and good vibes – skiing to start, partying as the highlight.

Toni Servillo, Giuliana De Sio, Vinicio Marchioni, Alessandro Haber, Teresa Saponangelo, Silvio Orlando, Gabriele Lavia, Neri Marcorè, and many other leading figures of the international theatre scene are part of the 2025/2026 season of the Teatro Stabile, taking place in Bolzano. This year’s season includes 12 subscription events and a special performance featuring Stefano Massini.

During Alm Advent, the Fane Alm transform into a cozy place filled with festive anticipation on all Advent Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Each Advent Sunday features its own special highlight:

On the 1st Sunday of Advent (30/11/2025), an alpine devotion takes place at 2 pm, accompanied by a four-part choir and then the brass ensemble of the Valles music band.

On the 2nd Sunday of Advent (07/12/2025), St. Nicholas visits the hut at 2 pm, with musical accompaniment by the Terento men’s choir.

On the 3rd Sunday of Advent (14/12/2025), the brass ensemble of the Rodeneck music band provides contemplative music.

The 4th Sunday of Advent (21/12/2025) is accompanied musically by Thomas Mahlknecht and Johannes Oberhofer

As you stroll through the small wooden huts, glowing with warm lights and festively decorated, you’ll be enveloped by an inviting atmosphere. The scent of hot mulled wine and delicious treats invites you to pause and enjoy the magic of the holiday season. Each hut offers unique handmade treasures that showcase the craftsmanship of local artisans.

A highlight of the market is the impressive life-sized nativity scene, lovingly carved by the sculptor Leo Moroder. Every year, new figures are added, making this artwork a vibrant symbol of the most beautiful Christmas traditions.

And when live music fills the air between the snow-covered huts, the market becomes even more enchanting. On certain evenings, concerts create a truly special festive atmosphere.

Last year, for every cup of mulled wine sold, €1.00 was donated to Aiüt Alpin Dolomites, raising a total of €3,000 in support of the valuable work of the mountain rescue team.
This year, the initiative continues, with a part of the proceeds being donated to another local association, sharing the magic of Christmas through solidarity.

During the culinary winter-weeks "The Alpine Table", numerous mountain huts across the holiday area Gitschberg Jochtal invite you to experience alpine cuisine at its most authentic.
