A year full of sunshine, wind and water is being pressed and cellared from the grapes on the southern slopes of Castelbello during these autumn days. This new wine needs to be tasted! The farmers' wives serve it with sausage, dumplings and sauerkraut. There is also a batch of roasted chestnuts on the table. This is Törggelen! The audience of the appendant concerts will be offered the musical performance and the chance to taste and enjoy a beautiful selection of wines in unique locations. For further information about the concerts, please visit: www.suedtirol.info/winesounds On Thursday, 6th November 2025, starting at 6.30 p.m., the unique Rock Cellar in Vadena will host an evening with music for harp and violin by the Duo Aurora and wines from the Laimburg Winery, which will be served in the underground tasting room carved into the rock. The Duo Aurora consists of two musicians who have been playing together for over 15 years: Christine Hübner on harp and Viktoria Gögele on violin. Thanks to the versatility of the harp and the elegance of the violin, they move with ease through classical and modern music, from J. S. Bach to film music. Over the course of the evening, selected wines from the Laimburg Winery will be served: to start, a white wine during an aperitif, and during the concert interval, a red wine accompanied by a traditional charcuterie board. A tasting wine and a guided tour of the impressive rock cellar, with its wine archive and archaeological finds, will round off the evening. Experience music by three outstanding composers from different periods: Louise Farrenc (1804–1875) – One of the most important, now rediscovered composers of the 19th century. Her chamber music is melodic, finely structured, and full of vitality. Caroline Shaw (1982) – The Pulitzer Prize winner and boundary-crosser between classical, pop, and experimental music captivates with subtle sound colors and playful creativity. After almost 10 years, the “Brixtown Music Night” concert series is finally back! Twenty-one musicians will present an evening full of music with a wide and varied repertoire of different musical styles. The event is organized by the Jugendhaus Kassianeum association, which is responsible for managing the Astra cultural center. Klaus Ramoser, founder of the original Brixtown Music Night, is the artistic director. Brixtown Music Night 2025 will take place on November 7 and 8, 2025, starting at 8:00 p.m. at the Astra cultural center in Bressanone.
