BARITUBE A new promising project by saxophonist Helga Plankensteiner with new compositions from the talents of the 3 musicians. RITA MARCOTULLI Italy's most prominent jazz pianist presents her solo programme. An imaginary journey inspired by everyday life, nature, experiences and the music of the different colours of the world. Original compositions, but also improvisations inspired by the emotions of the moment.

The Das Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival is a non competitive choral event that takes place in Val Pusteria: this valley, one among the most beautiful one of the whole Alpine arc, is located at the border between Italy (Alto Adige) and Austria (Osttirol region) at the foot of the Dolomites. The Festival programme includes about sixty performances divided into real concerts, “Open Air Reviews” and Meeting-Days, in which each participating choir can freely perform their repertoire. The first edition of the Festival took place in 1998. The variety of the locations selected for the performances together with the extremely rich repertoire presented by the participating choirs make this event not only one of the most spectacular international choral festivals but also a unique opportunity of mutual and fruitful exchange between different musical cultures. 40 years jubilee concert The Big Band Intica, founded in the distant year 1983 in San Candido, is celebrating its 40th anniversary on stage this year, which is remarkable for a big band, especially in these increasingly fast-moving times. How about a rustic South Tyrolean Speck platter, a delicious trio of dumplings or a traditional apple strudel? Four times a year Marlengo’s inns and restaurants invite visitors to the traditional “Taller & Tuba” festival on the fairground, where they prepare typical fresh dishes. The HERO KIDS 2024 is a non-agonistic race for children from 4 to 12 years of age. The race is intended to allow youngsters who may become tomorrow’s champions to take part in a mountain bike race especially for them. The route is not particularly demanding. REGISTRATION All kids between 4 and 12 years of age are welcome to take part to this race. Maximum number of participants is 500 kids. Registration fee: € 25,00

On Friday, 14 June, at 8.45 p.m. on the Piazza Terme, the two Music Schools (Musikschule Meran-Passeier and the Vivaldi Music School) will perform with different ensembles spanning different musical genres. Performing under the guidance of teachers Roberto Federico (Vivaldi School), Livia Bertagnolli, Christian Kofler (Musikschule Meran-Passeier) and Alexander Veit - will be six bands, one of which will consist of 35 elements. With the concert School's out the pupils of the two Music Schools will conclude the school year with the School's Out concert. This is a great sign of cooperation between the two schools and the teachers to show the public the skill and excellence of the two institutions, which put passion for music and teaching at the focus of their work.
