The Plawennpark in the heart of Silandro is the idyllic stage of our weekly evening concerts in the summer months. Today, we enjoy the sounds of the local music band "Laaser Böhmische", with a view of the high tower of the parish church, the historic town hall and Schlandersberg Castle, which is perched high on the rock. With the ‘Repeatles’, the music of the most successful band of all time still lives on today. Incredibly authentic! Celebrate, dance and scream along and experience the spirit of the ‘Beatles’ at the Thermenplatz in Merano.

At the successful event series, various associations are again at the start this year and provide good entertainment, drinks & snacks. There are three atmospheric evenings in common.

Summer evenings in Schenna: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. Shop opening hours in the evenings: 8pm to 9:30pm.

Three balmy summer evenings, local specialties, delicious treats and small delicacies, lively music at various locations and lots of good humor. The summer in Natz-Schabs becomes musical! Every Wednesday, concerts by numerous South Tyrolean music bands take place on the high plateau. Traditional and also modern sounds fill the room. The perfect occasion to end the evening in a cosy atmosphere.

True to its motto "Faithful in word, Pure in sound," the music band of Völser Aicha has been delighting people with its music at both religious and secular events since 1857. The over 50 volunteer musicians hail from the village of Völser Aicha in the municipality of Völs in the South Tyrolean Schlern area. For the past 22 years, the band has been under the proven musical leadership of conductor Tobias Profanter.

In its first edition, the Venosta Festival brings Herbert Pixner with Italo Connection to Glurns! The concert will take place on the Glurns Festival grounds on a cosy summer evening. Shopping on hot summer eventings - June to August is the time of the "long shopping evenings" in the centre of Lana. These evenings are a meeting point for locals and guests to stroll and browse through the shops. Shopping until late in the evening - this is what is on offer in Lana on the balmy summer evenings from 29 June to 17 August 2023: In the pedestrian zone Lana am Gries, visitors can look forward to eight "long shopping evenings" with shops open until 9 pm. In the pedestrian zone, shopping becomes a very special experience: stroll through the pedestrian zone, discover a wide range of offers in the numerous shops, enjoy the evening... For a break in between, the cosy cafés and restaurants invite you to linger.

A young couple from Meran with great passion and love for music. Isabella studies music and singing and, in addition to solo performances, regularly travels with European choirs. For more than ten years Thomas has been performing on stages in Germany and abroad with various bands of different genres. The repertoire includes polyphonic arrangements and adaptations of well-known pop, soul, R&B and funk songs. What should not be missing from their performances are romantic ballads, current pop reinterpreted and moments of goosebumps. A concert that invites you to listen and enjoy.

Concert by the local band of Meran in the village center

This is the title of the second event that will take place on Friday 28 June at 20:30, again in Piazza Terme. It is proposed by the Live Muse association, which is based in Laives but unites professional and amateur musicians from all over South Tyrol. President of the association is Mario Cosentino from Merano. Four bands will perform on stage with a varied repertoire: from duets to summer hits, from Vasco Rossi to 80s rock. Live Muse is one of the most active groups in South Tyrol with 56 concerts organised since its foundation. The special feature of these concerts is that the bands performing on stage are only created for the evening of the concert. In fact, the rule for participating in Live Muse is that musicians must not play in an existing band. This ensures that there is a rotation between musicians and female musicians and that new synergies and collaborations are created. Every Live Muse evening also has a charitable purpose, as the proceeds go to a different association in South Tyrol. The concert on 28 June will also have a moment dedicated to charity.

The likeable family from the Passeier Valley has been performing together on stage since 2011, enchanting young and old with their songs. The trio consists of the talented daughter Lena (guitar, ukulele, keyboards, vocals), dad Peter (guitar, vocals), and mom Karin (bass, vocals). In short, a band that is a family and a family that is a band. Their repertoire, to say the least, is varied and dynamic, encompassing a range of rock, pop, country, and blues music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, but also current tracks and last but not least, original compositions Now they are coming to the romantic courtyard of Wehrburg Castle as part of Burgen & Spectaculum 2024. In case of rain, the concert will take place in Castel Katzenzungen.

The 42nd edition of the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige will open in Bolzano on 28 June. Under the artistic direction of Roberto Tubaro, Max von Pretz and Stefan Festini Cucco, this important European music festival will offer more than 50 concerts throughout the region until 7 July, featuring numerous bands and soloists from the young and experimental scenes of Europe and beyond. The combination of unorthodox venues and an innovative, stylistically boundless sound will once again characterise the spirit of the festival, as can already be seen at the inaugural event. Estonian saxophonist Maria Faust and 20 singers will open the festival with her 'Mass of Mary'. This extraordinary project combines jazz with superb medieval vocal music and Estonian folklore. Following this highlight, the festival will host a techno night, as it did last year. This year's programme is as exquisite as it is varied: the outstanding drummer, percussionist and composer Tilo Weber, who is as at home in chamber music as he is in free improvisation, electronic music or swing, will appear with several projects, while the French cellist Valentin Ceccaldi will perform with his quartet Bonbon Flamme - a wild mixture of progressive rock and jazz. Saxophonist Fabian Dudek will present his composition "Day by Day", first performed in 2023. The French band INUI plays a multifaceted and constantly surprising music between improvised jazz and electronic trance. The Danish saxophonist Mette Rasmussen, who lives in the Norwegian jazz stronghold of Trondheim, and the American drummer Savannah Harris come with their project ØKSE, and the young Swiss jazz flutist Nancy Meier brings a rarely heard band format to the stage in South Tyrol: a flute quartet with drums. The concerts often take place in places that aren't normally concert venues. The festival's "base camp" will once again be set up in the Kapuzinerpark in Bolzano, and this year's programme includes many attractive venues such as the Novacella monastery near Brixen, the Bunker H in Bolzano, the Roner distillery in Tramin, the Ost West Club in Merano, the Mining Museum in Ridnaun, the Harpf bottle shop in Bruneck, the Stanglerhof in Völs, the Waaghaus and the parks of the Mondschein and Laurin hotels in Bolzano. New this year are the Ottmanngut in Merano, the Rittner Horn, the Gasthaus Jocher at the Vigiljoch in Lana and the town square in Sterzing. The annual SCHLOSS GAUDI music festival promises once again a unique experience between the ancient walls of Prösels Castle. Solo artist Medea Hinteregger from Brixen will open the evening with her unmistakably deep and soulful voice. This is followed by two young up-coming music groups: The seven-piece psychedelic rock band BlindApex and the alternative pop formation But Beautiful. This year, the hottest boy band from the Sciliar region will also be performing for the first time: Fratelli Stonati. This year's main act will be the Bolzano punk band Cemetery Drive. As in the previous year, the boy group Scamige Buben will round off the evening with their unique rap songs. Fee: € 17,00
