On June 8th, the 13th Morning Pint of the "Schuhplattler" Laion will take place at the village square in Laion! Starting at 9:30 AM, enjoy a diverse program filled with music, dance, and traditional entertainment. Musical highlights:

The wu chor wien is making a stop in Brixen as part of its choir tour. With it, a colorful and lively program. Look forward to powerful interpretations of timeless classics like Moon River or Over the Rainbow, well-known songs by The Beatles and Queen, as well as modern a cappella works, including those by The Real Group. Challenging contemporary choir arrangements like Butterfly by Marakoff or Other Plans by Australian composer Lisa Young, which provides a special listening experience with South Indian rhythmic language, round off the evening. The wu chor wien, directed by Andrés García, stands for exceptional sound quality, joy in singing, and a sense of musical community that delights the audience. An hour full of music, emotions, humor and profound moments. Let yourself be enchanted, sing along in your heart, snap your fingers, and feel: music connects. As special guest we present the Ensemble VocalArt Brixen.

For the 13th time, LANA MEETS JAZZ will take place in the form of a one-week festival in 2022. As usual, in the spirit of South Tyrol's musical youth, it is characterized by the joint performances of large and small artists and is probably unique in South Tyrol in its kind. The festival is organized by the association Sweet Alps under the artistic direction of Helga Plankensteiner and Michael Lösch.

There won't be a dry eye in the house - the "Vollmond" - Band's show promises top musical enjoyment combined with an attack on the laugh muscles. Also taking part is the show entertainer Sax Martl - known for his appearances at the Munich Oktoberfest. There are always guest appearances by local musicians and groups.

Summer evenings in Schenna: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. Shop opening hours in the evenings: 8pm to 9:30pm.

An interesting new project from the region. A powerful mixture of Afro-Cuban rhythms and electro-jazz sounds. A continuous search for the polyrhythmic groove, rich in sonic nuances. These are the ingredients that unite the personalities of Stefano Giordani (acoustic guitar, effects, sampler), Roberto Zecchinelli (electric bass, synthesiser) and Matteo Giordani (drums). Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. On some evenings, visitors can also enjoy performances by our traditional Bavarian folk dance, folk dance groups and the men's choir.

The Alta Pusteria InternationalChoirFestival is a non-competitive event held in the Puster Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in the entire Alpine region. Nestled at the foot of the Dolomites, it stretches along the border between Italy (South Tyrol) and Austria (East Tyrol). The festival program includes around sixty performances, featuring concerts, open-air revues, and meeting days, where each participating choir is free to present its own repertoire. Founded in 1998, the festival stands out for its diverse venues and the rich variety of choral repertoires, making it not only one of the most spectacular international choral music events but also a meeting place for different musical cultures. Fola Dada is an extremely versatile artist and can be described as a pioneer when it comes to combining different genres in her singing. The trained jazz singer began with tap dancing in the style of Fred Astaire and did not stop at vocal coaching for Dieter Bohlen's DSDS candidates. She has become an integral part of the German jazz and soul scene and was honoured with the German Jazz Award in the singing category in 2022.
