Invitation to the Concert: Chamber Music by Women Composers with Ensemble Desiderio Dear friends of music, We are delighted to invite you to a special concert by Ensemble Desiderio, featuring a program dedicated entirely to chamber music by women composers. With this concert, we continue our series focusing on the music of female composers – from the Romantic era to the present day. Look forward to works that move, surprise, and inspire. Experience music by three outstanding composers from different periods: Louise Farrenc (1804–1875) – One of the most important, now rediscovered composers of the 19th century. Her chamber music is melodic, finely structured, and full of vitality. Caroline Shaw (1982) – The Pulitzer Prize winner and boundary-crosser between classical, pop, and experimental music captivates with subtle sound colors and playful creativity. Doina Rotaru (1951) – A Romanian composer with a distinctive musical language – spiritual, rhythmically intense, and rich in timbre. Admission is free.
