The Tyrolean Advent in the Castle will be taking place in the historic ambience of Tyrol Castle. Tyrol Castle provides an atmospheric backdrop for a genuine South Tyrolean Christmas experience. Local exhibitors will present traditional handicrafts such as felting, pottery, turning, spinning, braiding, dyeing and the production of ceramics or jewelry in the castle's rooms. There will be a well-balanced program of events for visitors every day during Advent in the Castle: whilst crackling fires make for a cozy atmosphere, food stands will offer traditional dishes, baked goods and drinks. The Christmas market will also be attended by choirs and music groups, and there will also be all kinds of entertainment for children.

The magical Sterntaler Christmas Market enchants visitors during the weekends of the Advent season in the town center of Lana with its warm and charming atmosphere. Lovingly decorated stands offer genuine South Tyrolean crafts, along with Christmas specials in the local shops and many other seasonal experiences. Strolling and shopping at the Christmas Market in Lana is particularly cozy and stress-free. During the four Advent weekends, more than 20 stalls offer genuine South Tyrolean artisanal crafts created with passion as unique Christmas gifts. At the culinary stands, visitors will find delicious specialties for every taste: traditional mulled wine, fruity hot apple drinks and soups to warm you up, farmer's bread, stuffed pretzels and Christmas hamburgers are only part of the culinary variety on offer. Atmospheric live music by local bands frames the holiday spirit and hustle and bustle of the market, and young visitors can have fun with pony rides, handicraft workshops and Punch and Judy shows. On 5 and 31 December 2024, only the gastronomic stands are open.

Selva Val Gardena is getting ready for a very special Christmas. The idyllic village of Selva, in the heart of the Dolomites, at the foot of the majestic Sella mountain group, is, at 1550 metres above sea level, the highest town in Val Gardena. With its direct connection to the legendary ski tour 'Sella Ronda', it offers 500km of perfectly prepared slopes for every ski lover. Strolling through the village you can stop to try a steaming hot mug of mulled wine or warm mulled apple drink, and you can easily find the perfect Christmas gift such as sweet scented pine pillows, cosy mountain slippers, warm woolly socks, wooden nativity scenes, and many other items to decorate your mountain Christmas. Thousands of twinkling lights infused with sweet Christmas melodies will be sure to light up the hearts of young and old alike. The Christmas market is open from December 7th to December 10th, from December 15th to December 17th, and from December 22nd to January 6th, daily from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The beautiful historic center of Castelrotto once again provides the backdrop for the many small stalls that offer gifts, handicrafts, nativity figures, South Tyrolean products, herbs, candles and much more for sale to visitors. With mulled wine and fragrant cookies, homemade "Kastelruther Krapfen" visitors can listen to the Christmas music, escape the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle and experience a few contemplative moments. This year we will pass the time with handicrafts and games for our little visitors, while the adults can comfortably taste a fragrant mulled wine. Wise brass instruments, alphorn players, choirs and singers will round off the Christmas program.
