The hour of birth of the alphorn is and will probably remain unknown. When we talk about an "alphorn" today, we mean a long, straight wooden horn bent at the bottom. For centuries, horn instruments of different materials and shapes have been made and played on all continents.

As early as the 16th century, the alphorn served not only as a call and signal horn, but also as a toy for alpine shepherds and has become firmly stablished in the Alpine region in recent decades, with its own style of playing and dialect.

The Ladin word recort, meaning “memory,” becomes the key to telling the story of how these lifts shaped the early tourism of the valley and contributed to the local identity. A celebration expressed through mixology, where traditions and recollections take the shape of sensory experiences.

Belvedere (alcoholic):
Inspired by the former Belvedere lift, which once passed near the area where Hotel Recort stands today, this cocktail evokes the conviviality of a time defined by genuine relationships and simple gestures.
Tequila Casamigos Añejo, a symbol of friendship and togetherness, blends with a homemade Vermouth based on Schiava, recalling rural life and agreements sealed with a handshake, often celebrated with a glass of wine.

In the heart of Alta Badia, “Le Gran Nene” is born, a cocktail dedicated to Erich Kostner, visionary of the region’s development. The drink combines rhododendron honey and Golden Delicious green apple extract, creating a sweet-acid balance that pairs perfectly with a blended Scottish whisky, giving depth and complexity. It is enriched with a homemade bitter inspired by Alto Adige Pinot Noir, Kostner’s favorite wine, with notes of cherry, wild strawberries, and raspberry. As Erich used to do at the end of dinners, enjoying a sliced green apple with his whisky, Le Gran Nene celebrates his innovative spirit and the timeless beauty of Alta Badia.

Same Sky (non-alcoholic):

A famous title in the great classical repertoire, Swan Lake tells the love story between Prince Siegfried and Odette, a princess transformed into a swan by the perfidious magician Rothbart. Amidst grand court festivities, enchanted love scenes, spells and deceptions, this great title brings to the stage all the charm of ballet and classical technique, narrating one of the most important love adventures in the history of theatre.
The prestige and timeless fame achieved by Swan Lake are enhanced by the inspiring music of Pyotr Il'ič Tchaikovsky and the great inventiveness and expressiveness of Marius Petipa's choreography, here reinterpreted by Marco Batti, artistic director of the Balletto di Siena. An evening dedicated to listening to 70s and 80s rock music on vinyl, accompanied by a guided tasting of selected wines from local wineries.

After intensive days of rehearsals, the musicians will showcase their skills on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in an exciting final concert full of Bohemian brass music.
Working with experienced instructors has allowed the participants to further develop their abilities and grow together as an ensemble. Both the audience and the musicians can look forward to a varied program filled with joy and passion.
