The band Tonal Acoustic accompanies the afternoon with live music, creating a pleasant and welcoming ambiance. With a drink in hand, you can enjoy the glow of the lights and the cozy togetherness – a perfect way to spend Advent with family and friends.

The Vokalensemble Lauschwerk and Concerto Stella Matutina, conducted by Martin Steidler, present a refined program of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Advent Cantatas: BWV 36, 61, and 132. The concert will take place on December 14 at 6:00 PM at the Franciscan Church in Bolzano.

Tickets are €25, with reduced prices (€5–10–20) for over 65s, under 26s, and families (4Family, see services).

The event is organized in collaboration with the Bolzano Tourist Board, the Bolzano Christmas Market, the Trento Philharmonic Foundation, and the Südtiroler Kulturinstitut, offering the audience a unique musical experience that combines vocal mastery with a festive and evocative atmosphere.

During Alm Advent, the Fane Alm transform into a cozy place filled with festive anticipation on all Advent Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors can look forward to mulled wine, South Tyrolean specialties, a lovingly designed children’s program with crafting and storytelling, as well as stalls offering homemade products.

Each Advent Sunday features its own special highlight:

On the 1st Sunday of Advent (30/11/2025), an alpine devotion takes place at 2 pm, accompanied by a four-part choir and then the brass ensemble of the Valles music band.

On the 2nd Sunday of Advent (07/12/2025), St. Nicholas visits the hut at 2 pm, with musical accompaniment by the Terento men’s choir.

On the 3rd Sunday of Advent (14/12/2025), the brass ensemble of the Rodeneck music band provides contemplative music.

The event Christmas in Taisten transforms the new village square in Taisten into a warm and festive meeting place. Traditional customs, music and regional specialties create a peaceful yet lively Advent atmosphere across several event days. Saturday, 06 December: St. Nicholas celebration: at 05:00 p.m. St. Nicholas arrives from St. George’s Church (Keila) to the village square with gift giving, hot dogs, roasted chestnuts and warm drinks. Sunday, 14 December: from 09:30 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. festive brunch with soups and hot dogs, guessing game with the chance to win 4 Guggenberg day passes! With her many years of experience and passion for the sport, Sara will inspire you with the fun and beauty of ice skating. The courses are divided by age groups: Children aged 3–5: 16:00–17:00 Children aged 6 and older: 17:00–18:00 Sara recommends attending all the sessions to get the most out of the training. However, if you can only attend a single session, that is also possible. Christmas Celebration on December 20th: As a special highlight, Sara invites you to a small Christmas celebration on December 20th at 5PM. A rich programme of organ and orchestra concerts accompanied by the Bolzano Cathedral Choir.

Every Thursday in December, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the Laurin Bar comes alive with the long aperitif: classic aperitifs, signature cocktails, a fresh buffet (20 €), and music selected by the live DJ. The event is also open to external guests.

Concert by the Mandolin Orchestra Euterpe in the Church of the Three Saints in 25 Amedeo Duca d'Aosta Avenue on Thursday 18 December 2025 at 7.30 pm. Conductor is Ugo Orrigo, Giovanni Salin on the recorder. Free admission.

The concert program is intended to be a journey through the repertoire for mandolin orchestra, ranging from the original repertoire of the first half of the 20th century to period transcriptions of compositions not dedicated to the mandolin and the repertoire of contemporary composers who have approached the mandolin.

The Euterpe Mandolin Orchestra of Bolzano is currently the only orchestra of its kind in the entire Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino Euroregion.

The programme includes compositions by Hermann Ambrosius, Henry Mancini, Salvatore Falbo, Katsumi Nagaoka, Georges Bizet, Fabrizio De Andrè, Antonio Vivaldi, Ralph Paulsen-Bahnsen, S. Alfonso Maria De Liguori, Leopold Mozart, Franz Xaver Gruber.

Short concert where the most famous Christmas melodies of all times can be heard from the windows of the music school in piazza Parrocchia square.

On Friday, December 19, 2025, the Kastelruther Spatzen invite you to their atmospheric Christmas concert, taking place at the Telfen Tennis Hall in Kastelruth. This year, the concert will be held exclusively on Friday – a special evening full of music, emotion, and festive spirit awaits all visitors. In the afternoon, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, fans will have the chance to meet the Kastelruther Spatzen in person: an autograph session with the popular musicians will take place at the Christmas market in Kastelruth. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the Alphorn Players and the "Kastelruther Turmbläser", creating a festive atmosphere. Admission to the concert begins at 3:00 PM at the Telfen Tennis Hall. From this time on, food and refreshments will be available. The concert itself starts at 5:00 PM, when the Kastelruther Spatzen will perform their most beautiful and heartfelt Christmas songs – a touching musical experience, perfect for the Advent season.

This year in December there will take place the 58th edition of the Saslong Classic, valid for the FIS Ski World Cup. The athletes of the Super-G will go in scene on Friday 19th December 2025 and the day after, Saturday 20th December 2025, will attempt the stars of the classic downhill race on the Saslong.

An evening of contrasts and sound colors: the overture to Carl Maria von Weber’s final opera Oberon leads into an exotic adventure. John Adams’ Shaker Loops brings the vibrant pulse of American minimalism. The program concludes with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1, Winter Dreams, an early masterpiece full of poetic atmosphere. Conducted by Hossein Pishkar and performed by the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento.

Together with biscuits, mulled wine and music, the Sexten Youth Choir invites you to get into the Christmas spirit on 19 December 2025. All proceeds from the event will go to Cancer Aid Alta Pusteria.

An evening to warm the heart and lift the soul. Straight from Florida, the Florida Fellowship Choir brings the vibrant energy of American gospel to Brixen. Founded in 2017 by Corey Edwards, this ensemble of faith, family and fellowship unites singers and musicians from across the Sunshine State. Winners of the international How Sweet the Sound 2022 competition, they have graced some of the most renowned gospel stages in the United States and performed alongside greats such as John P. Kee and Kierra Sheard. In Brixen, they’ll perform with a smaller line-up – but with all the passion, rhythm and soul that define their sound. A celebration of spirit, joy and the magic of Christmas.

Crossing Cultures explores the vibrant zone of contact that emerges where two cultural worlds meet—a space shaped by encounters between people, imaginations, sounds, and lived experiences.
The evening opens with a short film by directors Samba Ngum and Emilio Tamburini. Black Vesuvio tells a story of personal identification with Naples’ iconic volcano, seen through the eyes of Samba Ngum—a Gambian entrepreneur and musician who came to Italy for love. After finding work at the Vesuvius National Park, Samba faces, on one hand, the racism of certain tourists and, on the other, a growing affection for the volcano itself: powerful yet forced into silence… until the day it erupts.
Following the screening, Gianpaolo Chiriacò will moderate a conversation with the two directors.
The evening continues in Waag’s historic cellar with a performance by the duo Sophia Domancich and Napoleon Maddox, embodying yet another meeting at the crossroads of musical worlds and identities. A classically trained pianist devoted to experimentation—from jazz to avant-rock in the spirit of Robert Wyatt—Sophia Domancich weaves soundscapes around the vocal acrobatics of Napoleon Maddox, an African American rapper, poet, and beatboxer who emerged with the band IsWhat?!.
A collaboration driven by sonic exploration and a tribute to the great African American composers.
