The trail is a pleasant valley path with a panoramic view over the Wipptal basin and leads from Stilfes village to Reifenstein castle. The castle is always a visit worth and also the nearby St. Zeno church.
From St. Anton/S. Antonio in Pflersch/Fleres Valley the trail nr. 27 to the pasture Allriss. From here to the yoke Allriss (Allrissjoch), on the left to the Wetterspitze/Cime del Tempo (nr. 34). Back on the same trail.
The trailleads from the Mules valley over the Valler Jöchl jag to the Jochtal pastures. By the mountain huts are waiting a lot of local delicacies. And nearby you will finf also the so calles "Stoanernen Mandln". Right at the jag you will have also a wonderul view over the Isarco valley.
The Hintertalweg trail leads through the typical Pfitscher high valley. The pleasant walk with slight inclines circles the Pfitsch valley end and allows wonderful views on the peaks of the Zillertal alps. Suitable for strollers.
800 m in front of Brenner/Brennero the trail nr. 3 starts to the source of Eisack/Isarco river. We pass the mountain pastures of Steinalm and Sattelalm and arrive at the source. Back on the same trail.
The trail starts by the mountain station and goes in direction Edelweißhütte mountain hut. Just before the hut tunr left on the steep trail (34) and along the scree upwards to the Lotterscharte joke (2258m). Afterwards on trail 24 to the Ochsenschatre joke and furtheron over the ridge to the Rosskopf summit (2189m). Descend to the Rosskopf mountain station. Return to Ladurns with pubblic bus (313).
The trail leads from the Sterzinger valley bottom to Schmuders hamlet and up to the typical Prantneralm mountain hut, which invites with a great view on the surrounding mountains. The hike descends from the pasture to the Novale hamlet and passes the Strassberg ruin, where centuries ago the local counts had their habitation.
Easy ski tour for beginners on the Rosskopf leisure mountain at Sterzing / Vipiteno. Start by the Rosskopf mountain station to the Sterzingerhaus mountain hut and on to the biotope Kastellacke. Turn on left here and beneath the crest upwards to the Rosskopf summit.
This challenging yet great tour leads along the sunny slopes of the mountain Rosskopf ridge at an altitude from 1900 to 2300 meters above the Ridnauntal valley, with descent into the valley. Only recommended at good weather conditions. From the mountain station of the Rosskopf cable car (1850m) follow a wide path no. 23 southwestwards slightly uphill, around the south facing rock formation, above the mountain pasture Kuhalm (1897m; open) along to the mountain pasture Ochsenalm (1907m; open). The trail, now no. 23, leads below the mountain Telfer Weißen along the mountain cauldron of the pasture Seeberalm next to the lake Seebersee (2110m; open). Along below the southern slopes of the mountain Wetterspitze you reach the pasture Prischeralm (2160m; open). The return runs along the path no. 27 partly steeply downhill to the hamlet of Sennen in Maiern. From there you can go back by the public bus to Sterzing. Mountaineering experience and good physical condition essential.
The Maria Trens circular hiking trail connects the sanctuary with the nearby Sprechenstein castle. The trail goes along the forest hillside to the Sprechenstein rock, where you will find a nice panoramic view over the valley bottom. The return to the Maria Trens sanctuary goes along the old pilgrimage trail.
Starting from St. Anton/S. Antonio, a steep forest path at the beginning leads past the Gringer Wiese to the Platschjoch, where it then runs only slightly upwards past the Gostjöchl to the chapel below the Jaufensteg/Passo Giovo. Very nice views into the valleys Ratschingstal/Val Racines and Jaufental/Val Giovo. From the chapel you can descend towards Schluppes/Casalupa into the valley and hike back to the starting point.
The wonderful circular hiking tour Vallming - passing the major attracions on the leisure mountain. By the mountain station on mark no. 24 up to the Rosskopf peak. Further on the trail to the Ochsenscharte jag. Turn right on the trail no. 24b and down to the Vallming mountain huts. Next on mark no. 19a up to the Kastellacke biotope. Here turn right on mark no. 19, passing the Rossy Park until the starting point.

From the hamlet of Flading/Vallettina at the end of the Ratschingstal valley follow first the trail no. 12 and then trail no. 30 through the forest and then quite steep over a beautiful waterfall. Further up to the Gleckalm and the following the path no. 31B to the lake Glecksee. Continue until the ridge to the summit Ratschinger Weißen. The return is down along trail no. 31 until the Gleckalm and down to the bridge which cross the river. Straight ahead and steeply down until the trail no. 12 and back to the hamlet of Flading.
Start by the Rosskopf / Monte Cavallo mountain station in direction biotope Kastellacke, on the hike number 19. By the biotope on the right side on the circular trail to the antenna station. Return on the forest road, passing the mountain hut Furlhütte, to the mountain station.
The circular hike runs along the sunny side of Freienfeld and connects the Trens and Mules villages. Highlights on the trail from Trens over Valgenauna and Flanes di Sotto to Mules are the churches of St. Valentine and St. Oswald. The first lies idillyc on a ridge over the Isarco valley, while the second one is the Mules village centre.
The trail leads from the Val di Vizze high valley through the Droßberg-mountain valley along the old military road upwards in the Fundres mountains. By the Sandjoch jag is waiting a panoramic view on the surrounding summits like Wilde Kreuzspitze summit and Grabspitze summit. Route: Start by the Fußendraß hamlet in direction Droßbergalm on the trail 17, passing throug the Droßberg valley and after the mountain hut on trail 17 up to the Sandjoch joke (2651m) and through the pastures to the Brixnerhütte mountain hut (2282m). Lunch possibilities: Brixner Hütte.
From the Ridnauntal/Val Ridanna follow path no. 26 through the valley of Valtigltal until shortly before the pass. Then follow a well-marked path without numbering alongside the pastures to the rewarding panoramic mountain Einachtspitze. From there follow the red-white marking, past the small lake Fuchsee, through the pasture Joggelealm and the new forest road to the starting point or to the inner and outer pasture Wurzeralm (not managed) on path no. 25 to the end, then no. 24 to Entholz/Ento.
The Viedalm circular hiking trail guides you in to the alpine mountain world at the feet of the rocky summits of Pfitsch valley with a beautiful view over the valley ground.
From the top station of Ladurns to the mountain hut Edelweiß/Stella Alpina and from here the trail nr. 34A to the Lotterscharte. Then on the trails nr. 24 and nr. 23 to the peaks Telfer Weißen/Cime Bianche di Telves. Back on the same trail.
Start behind the Braunhof farm and follow the trail 6 upwards to the Saun summit (2062m). Further on trail 6 all alon the crest and over the Bairnock summit (2581m) to the Weißspitze summit (2715m), the last part on scree underground. Along the trail 6 on the exposed ridge to the next summit, the Amthorspitze (2753m). A dangerous tract is fixed with an aluminium ladder and a small bridge. Descent to the Hühnerspielhütte mountain hut and return on trail 11 and 3, along the Riedbergalm and Prantneralm mountain huts to the starting point. Lunch possibility: Hühnerspielhütte, Riedbergalm Prantneralm, Braunhof.
Descend from Rosskopf / Monte Cavallo at Sterzing / Vipiteno to Gossensass / Colle Isarco. By the Rosskopf mountain station on the right followin the trail no. 19 and 19A in direction Vallming Almen mountain huts. By the Vallming alpine village the forest road on the right side along and after a while on the left on trail no. 19A to the valley bottom. Here on the promenade to Gossensass (return to Sterzing with public bus on weekdays).
Starting point for this sunny panoramic hike is the fire station at Obertelfes/Telves di Sopra (parking possibility). From there hike in direction “Telfer Almen”. After ca. 30 minutes of walking time you reach the timber line. After crossing the bridge follows a short and steep rise, where the path leads forward through spruce forests, downhill towards Telfes. Later cross a forest path and follow the further markings. After a short while you reach a timber line, called “Neun Stangen”. Here you turn left and you reach the farm Jaufnerhof. Walk along the timber line with a stunning view of the valley and go back to the starting point. Wonderful, easy hiking tour for the whole family.
The trail leads from the Maria Trens sanctuary along the hamlets of Campo di Trens. To discover next to the picturesque Maria Trens village and the sanctuary is the St. Valentines church in Valgenauna.
The trail leads from the pitoresque Prati village through the forest upwards to the Gschließegg panoramic point and further to Sprechenstein castle, where you will find a nice overview on the Vipiteno valley bottom.
The trails starts by the Ladurns mountain station and goes to the Edelweisshütte alpine hut. Right on to the "Teisljöchl" and here turn right on mark 35. After a few minutes you will arrive to the Dolomieu trail. Follow the trail passing the Toffring Meadows until the Allriss mountain hut. Further on descend on trail 27 to the valley bottom to S. Antonio/St .Anton. Return to the valley station with pubblic bus (313).
The hike starts at the picturesque pilgrimage town Maria Trens and goes along a partially exposed and rocky forest trail up to the panorama point Gschließegg, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view over the attractive Sterzing basin.
