By the parking lot over Kematen following the forestal road. By the junction turn right and follow the road to the turnoff of the trail 5A on the left side. Along trail 5 thorugh the forest upwards to the Grubberg mountain hut (no service). Passing by and following trail 5, 5B to the crest and on the left along the Landshuter Höhenweg (mark 3) to the junction to the Wolfendorn summit (2783m). Lunch possibility: Restaurant Kranebitt, Gasthof Alpenrose

From Ried follow the forest path no. 29 for approx. 2 hours to the alpine hut Zunderspitzhütte (1950m). After another 1 ½ hours on foot you reach the pasture Obere Gewingesalm (2050m). From there continue on a marked path for another 1-1 ½ hours to the mountain Zunderspitze. The view of the glacier and the surrounding valley is worth every effort! Shortly after the pasture Obere Gewingesalm walk downhill to the mountain pasture Martalm in about 40-60 minutes. From there follow the forest road to the valley.

The Ladurns Loop starts at the Ladurns mountain station (with dining options). The approximately 2-hour hike takes you past the Hirsch-Lacken, a biotope with two small lakes. You continue on the Dolomieu Trail until the junction to Teissljöchl/Edelweiß Hut. A short climb leads to Wastenegg, where you can enjoy a stunning panorama of the rugged Tribulaun peaks. Continuing with a gentle descent, you reach Teissljöchl and then turn left to the Edelweiß Hut, where you can rest and refuel. From here, you have two options to descend: either along the forest road marked with number 34 or along trail number 8 (starting behind the water reservoir of Ladurns), both leading back to the starting point.

The hiking tour starts in Gasse in Ridnaun/Ridanna. You can also take the car and drive on for about 15 minutes. Turn left towards “Entholz” and at the sign to the Valtiglalm drive on about 2 kilometers until you reach a wooden bridge, where you can park your car. Then follow the path no. 26 upwards to the mountain pasture Valtiglalm.

The trail starts from the mine at the top of the Ridnauntal valley and then continues across the Mareiterbach stream and down the valley to below Ridnaun/Ridanna. Then the trail takes you for about 20 minutes along marked route 7A up to the chapel. This can be visited every Monday at 4 pm from May to the end of October, and in July and August also on Fridays at 10 am.

From the parking place Stein/Sasso in the Pflersch/Fleres valley on the trail nr. 8 to the mountain hut Tribulaunhütte. Descend on the same trail.

Start by the parking lot at the 4th turn on the forrestal road to the Pfitscherjoch joke. On the trail 4A over the Grieplalm pasture (no service) to the Landshuter Höhenweg trail (mark 3) and furtheron to the Europahütte mountain hut. By the hut following trail 3A along the Italian and Austrain border crest to the Kraxentrager summit (2999m). The last part is exposed, but fixe with a steel rope. By the Stein hamlet following trail 3 upwards through the wood, along steep serpentines to flater pastures, cutting the forrestal road to the joke, to the Pfitscherjoch mountain hut. Furtheron on trail 3 (Landshuter Tiroler Höhenweg) with a splendid mountain view all along to the Europahütte mountain hut (2693m). Lunch possibilities: Europahütte, Pfitscherjochhaus, Gasthof Stein

Start by the Fußendras hamlet along trail 17 through the Droßberg valley on the steady ascending trail to the Drosberg mountain hut (1933m, no service).

Starting point: mountain station Ladurns (1.713m)
From the mountain station of the cable car Ladurns a path leads slightly ascending past the pasture village Ladurns with the farmed mountain hut Ladurnerhütte across the so-called “Mahder” to the mountain hut Edelweißhütte/Rifugio Stella Alpina. On the right there is an alp crucifix and behind it is located a little fishpond. There you can see a rock formation - the huge alpine massif of the summit Tribulaun. Although it is 3.100 high, it overshadows the remaining summits. Tip: delicious apple pie

Looking for an hike with breathtaking views and a cozy stop? Then the trail from the Ladurns mountain station (1,713 m) to the Edelweisshütte is perfect. The trail takes you past the Ladurns mountain village and the Ladurnerhütte hut. From there, continue across the "Mahder" to the Edelweisshütte, which you can already see from afar. Along the way, you'll enjoy spectacular views of the impressive Pflerscher Tribulaun rock mass, which towers over the surrounding mountains.

At the Edelweisshütte, you can take a break and admire the mountain cross and a small fish pond. Additionally, there's an opportunity to fish in the lake – the freshly caught fish will be prepared for you right on site by chef Luis. A special tip: enjoy the delicious apple strudel at the hut, which will perfectly round off your outing.

From the mountain station following the trail to the Edelweisshütte mountain hut, further on passing the Teisljöchl on a difficult mountain trail to the Wetterspitze summit.

By the 3rd turn on the road to the Pfitsch joke following trail 7 on the left valley side, through alpine pastures to a scree slope and upwards the moraine to the bivouac (2510m) in front of the big northern walls of the Hochferner and the Griesverner.

From Mareit: parking possibility at the village center. From there over the bridge and immediately right in direction artisan area. Past the saw and on a beautiful wide path back to Stange. Cross a bridge and walk at the other bank of the brook towards Gasteig. There cross the brook and walk on the cycle path towards Stange and then on to Mareit, back to the starting point.

From Stange: parking possibility at the local square. From there walk approx. 100m along the main street in direction Mareit and fork right at the first junction. (signpost - Carabinieri) After a few minutes you reach the forest and after a few meters you reach the brook bank. Then, first towards Mareit or Gasteig, as you prefer! (well signposted)

From Gasteig: parking possibility in front of the culture house (fire station). Cross the main street and walk along the path “Mühlbachlweg” for about 500m until you reach a farm, where you already see the next signposts. Follow the path towards Stange. There starts the path, which firstly leads through a small forest. You reach Stangh, cross a bridge and reach Mareit (more rest points). The way back leads first on the same route towards Stange, from where you reach Gasteig by foot or on the cycle path.

Tip: this hike is combinable with a visit at the castle Wolfsthurn in Mareta (South Tyrolean Museum of Hunting and Fishing) or with a hike through the Gilfenklamm gorge (unique natural spectacle for young and old)!

Originating from Stein/Sasso or Pflersch/Fleres on the trail nr. 6 to the mountain hut Magdeburg. Back on the same way.

This adventurous family hike on the South Tyrolean side runs along the banks of the Pflerscherbach stream and features various play stations on the theme of ‘water’ and ‘climbing’. The educational hike with the two water drops Gossy and Gschnitzy starts at the sports field in Gossensass and leads to Innerpflersch to the viewing platform Hölle. To get back to the starting point, you can take the public bus number 313 every hour. On this easy yet long adventure trail, you have several opportunities to stop for refreshments or to enjoy a cosy picnic. 

A beautiful tour in the quiet valley of Jaufental. From the village of Mittertal/Val di Mezzo follow on a small road the mark “Hotel Jaufentalerhof” and hike further to Kaltenbrunn. Turn right and walk along the forest path (Bürglweg) back to Mittertal.

Your tour to the Brenner border ridge starts in Brennerbad - Terme di Brennero. First, cycle up the forest road to around 2,150 m, where the Brenner Pass Ridge trail begins. From there, continue almost level along trail no. 1 towards the saddle "Steinjoch". Shortly afterwards, turn right onto trail no. 3, which takes you to the Steinalm hut. A little further on, turn right again onto a steep forest road that leads you back to the Brenner – Bolzano cycle path. From there, enjoy a relaxed ride back to Brennerbad - Terme di Brennero.

By the 3rd turn following the trail 1 to the mountain huts and furtheron on the right trail (mark 8) along the stream through the valley. Passing on the bridge the stream and following always trail 8, on the steep and stoney walk upwards to the Gliederscharte joke (2635m) with a wonderful view on the Hochfeiler summit.

From Gossensass/Colle Isarco trail nr. 22 to the mountain hut Hühnerspiel/Cima Gallina and then on trail nr. 11 to the pastures of Zirog/Zirago. Descent to the village Brennerbad/Terme di Brennero and back to Gossensass/Colle Isarco with the bus.

Starting point: mountain station Rosskopf Monte Cavallo (1.860m)
The cable car (valley station near the north park in Vipiteno) takes you to the mountain of Vipiteno. Leave the mountain station and follow on your right the marked trails: “Kastellacke”, “Flaner Jöchl” or “Vallminger Almen”. After approx. 15 minutes of walking time you finally reach the mountain hut Sternhütte above the mountain station.
Alternative: by foot to the Rosskopf Monte Cavallo: starting point is the valley station of the Rosskopf Monte Cavallo cable car. Follow path no. 19 or no. 23 through a shady forest and over serpentines to a forest path. Continue to the mountain station. From there follow the trails “Kastellacke”, “Flaner Jöchl” or “Vallminger Almen” until you reach the mountain hut Sternhütte.
Tip: children’s playground and sunbathing area, on Sundays spear ribs

Above the Braunhof farm near Schmuders on the trail 3 in direction to the Weisse Spitze summit. Furtheron on the forestal road for a little while and descent on the left to the Prantneralm mountain inn (1780m). Alternativ: ascent on the forestal road, suitable for strollers. Lunch possibility: Prantneralm, Braunhof

Starting from the north of the country, the cycle route gently descends along the old railway line in winding curves, leading you to Colle Isarco (Gossensass) and then on to Vipiteno (Sterzing). Shortly after leaving the Brenner Pass, you can enjoy your first Italian cappuccino in a charming cultural gem along the way. In the renovated railway crossing keeper’s house, you’ll find the charming bistro “Route 232”.
The route then takes you straight into the heart of the Fugger town of Vipiteno – simply ride through the open arch of the iconic Zwölferturm (Tower of the Twelve). From there, the path continues over flat and slightly uphill sections, passing through villages and hamlets until you reach the impressive Franzensfeste Fortress. A stop here is highly recommended to explore the exhibition rooms of this historical structure, originally built for war but never actually used in combat.

The cycle path then takes you past the Vahrn Lake before arriving in the medieval bishop's town of Brixen. There, you can reflect on your tour with a glass of wine, stroll beneath the arcades, explore local culture, or head straight back into the peaceful natural surroundings.

And if your legs are running out of motivation, don’t worry – the train offers a comfortable way back to your starting point.

Starting point: mountain station Rosskopf Monte Cavallo (1.860m)
The cable car Rosskopf Monte Cavallo (valley station near the north park in Vipiteno) takes you to the leisure mountain. From the mountain station follow the marked trail no. 19 until you reach the Sterzinger Haus, which is situated above the mountain station.
Alternative: by foot to the Rosskopf Monte Cavallo: starting from the valley station of the cable car Rosskopf Monte Cavallo, follow path no. 19 or no. 23. Continue through a shady forest over serpentines and further on to the mountain station. From there follow path no. 24 uphill to the mountain hut Sterzinger Haus.

Easy family hiking tour from Stilves to the Rofis Boden wood play ground. Start in Stilves and along the road in direction Niederried/Novale Bassa. Soon after leaving the village along the trail 17 on the right side upwards to the Rofis Boden. Along the forestal road you will arrive to the Rofis Boden also with a stroller.

Lunch possibility: Walcher Bakery, Hotel Wieser

By the 3rd turn follow the trail 1 upwards, passing by the old mountain huts and following the trail along the hillside through the valley. On the serpentines upwards the grass slope to the Hochfeiler mountain hut (2715m). Lunch possibility: Hochfeilerhütte mountain hut.

Starting point: park area a few meters after the Braunhof (1.350m) in Schmuders near Prati.
From the inn Braunhof near Schmuders follow the marked trail no. 3 on good forest paths upward the mountain pasture Prantneralm. From there a forest path leads to the mountain pasture Riedbergalm.
Tip: handmade yoghurt, alpine cheese, children’s playground, accessible by car

Going left from the Ladurns mountain station a farm trail climbs gently over the so-called Mahder to the Edelweiss Hut.

Starting point: park area Stein/Sasso (1.350m) or park area "Hölle/All'inferno" (1.450m)
Version 1: starting from Stein/Sasso in Pflersch/Fleres walking towards the valley on the sunny side over the easily accessible pasture path in direction to the mountain pasture Furtalm. Version 2: over the forest path, underneath the Steinhöfe turn left and continue until you reach the mountain pasture Furtalm/Malga Furt. Version 3: from the gate following the signpost “Pflerscher Hölle” on your right and from there you reach the destination over a pasture path after approx. 45 minutes. Tip: special location at the valley basin, hiking tour for families, handmade products.

The starting point of this beautiful hike is the parking lot in Stein, Innerpflersch at 1,350 m. You can choose from three different routes:

• Option 1: Hike along the sunny side of the valley via the Waterfall Trail No. 6 towards Furtalm, reaching it in about 1.5 hours.
• Option 2: For a shorter route, follow the wide forest path 6B, below the Steinhöfe, where you turn left after about an hour to reach Furtalm.
• Option 3: From the barrier, take the path on the right marked to the "Pflerscher Hölle." From here, you’ll reach the Furtalm in about 45 minutes via the alptrail.

The Furtalm is located in a quaint basin, offering a perfect spot for a break. Enjoy homemade products, and it's an excellent family-friendly hike. For an even more immersive nature experience, combine the hike with a visit to the "Hölle" Waterfall and its new viewing platform.
