We are wild and free – we love variety. We want to make wild o’williams into a destination – a hot hut at the heart of the South Tyrolean highlands. The search for a delicious à la carte Restaurant will lead you straight to the heart of the pedestrian zone of Sterzing's old town and to the restaurant of Hotel Lamm. Nestled between a glittering multitude of bay windows that characterise this part of town you will find this hidden gem, which will soon have you coming back time and time again. Our alpine hut is located in the heart of the Dolomites at an altitude of 1,364 metres above sea level, in the middle of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park. Only reachable by foot. Surrounded by meadows and forests, the Hofer Alpl mountain inn is an oasis of tranquillity. Whether it is hikers or cyclists, couples or families with children – our guests feel comfortable here. From our sun terrace you will enjoy a breath-taking view of the surrounding villages and the unique mountain world of the Alps: Trentino mountain region, Cevedale, Texel Group and Ötztal Alps. Alpine-Mediterranean cuisine Wood-fired pizzas Our restaurant offers a modern, light cuisine that is both healthy and full of flavour. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients, we create innovative dishes that reinterpret classic tastes in a new and exciting way. In addition, we offer a small but fine selection of pizzas from our traditional wood-fired oven. Each pizza is prepared with high-quality, fresh ingredients and gains its unique, intense flavour through slow baking in the wood oven.

You will find our farm restaurant in the centre of the village. We converted part of the old stable into a restaurant in 1997. Our restaurant features cosy little snugs, where we serve our guests local Tyrolean specialities including Knödel dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen (pasta parcels), Gerstesuppe (a hearty local soup), platters with farm produce and much more. Every Friday we offer roast pork knuckle with various side dishes. In autumn, you can enjoy the local harvest festival feasts known as Törggelen, where a Tyrolean Schlachtplatte (a hearty meal of pork, sausages and sauerkraut) is served. For desert there are chestnuts, other types of nuts, fruit and doughnuts. Why not visit our farm restaurant, where you experience a wonderful evening enjoying a wide range of specialities.
