At Waldbichl Hotel, we especially value high quality homemade products. We use garden fresh vegetables, farm raised eggs and other wholesome products for our flavorful and genuine menu. For lunch you can choose some light dishes from our own restaurant and in the evening there comes the high point. An excellent 4 course menu with a choice of various salads from the buffet. Hot food from 12:00 a.m. to 01:30 p.m. and from 07:00 p.m. to 08:30 p.m.

We serve local specialities and local dishes at an elevation of 1,350 m in the midst of the Speikboden skiing and hiking region with gorgeous views of the surrounding 3,000 m peaks. We offer fresh homegrown products; meat, fish (trout; please order in advance), vegetables, herbs, and jellies. Our restaurant Schüsslerhof is ideal for family celebrations, company festivities, and weddings. We will gladly reserve our restaurant for you. Group reservations can be arranged after regular business hours.

The Madritsch Hut is located in Solda, below the Madritsch Pass in the middle of the mountain world around King Ortles. The hut can be reached via the large Solda panoramic cable car to the mountain station at 2,610 m. The family-friendly hiking trail along the summer pasture of Reinhold Messner's yaks takes you to the Madritsch Hut (2,820 m) in around 1 hour. On the sun terrace you will be enchanted by Tyrolean specialties and the breathtaking mountain scenery. The Madritsch hut, which is typically furnished with wood, was largely rebuilt in 2017 and furnished in a modern style. The kitchen spoils you with traditional South Tyrolean & Italian dishes such as Tyrolean dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen and delicious Kaiserschmarrn. In the Yak Bar, hot chocolate or coffee awaits you and in Europe’s highest igloo, cool beer, Willi afterwards and great après-ski music await you. Enjoy the unique view of the Ortler Group from the sun terrace.

The Schneeburghof is located on the most beautiful observation deck from Dorf Tirol/Tirolo, in the middle of plantations from orchards. From 11 am to 6 pm we offer cold dishes and from 6 pm to 9 pm also warm dishes. Every Friday we organize a barbecue-evening, in which you must sign in until 11 am of the same day.
