Because with Alessia, a hiking guide and ambassador of Alta Badia, the conversation turns to trash, starting with the waste left on the trails, to understand how certain behaviors can be truly harmful to the Alpine environment. Walking along the most frequented paths of Alta Badia, Alessia encourages collecting the waste left by the careless, all the while sharing curious anecdotes, prompting reflection and awareness. The experience wraps up in a convivial and relaxing moment: a picnic at the base of the Pisciadú waterfalls. Alessia takes care of the organization, and as a memento of the experience and a thank-you for the commitment to the environment, each guest receives an eco-friendly box designed to reduce the use of packaging during mountain snacks. This experience is part of ATIRA: a series of weekly meetings and excursions designed to raise awareness about crucial issues for maintaining sustainable territorial development. With ATIRA, you become a guardian of the Dolomites: you will not only learn fascinating facts about the mountains but also how to actively contribute to the protection of our territory. From the stunning Lake Misurina along the wide hiking trail via the Grave di Pogata and Forcella Maraia to the Città di Carpi refuge 2100 m. Along the way there are magnificent views of the rocks of the Marmarole and Sorapiss group. A wonderful resting place in the middle of the majestic Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site, which invites to a stop and to feel the energy of the mountain landscape. The "Seven Lakes Tour" is a demanding but truly rewarding hike in the Ridnaun high mountains. We save the first two hours and 600 metres in altitude thanks to the shuttle that takes us from Maiern to the Moarerbergalm. From there we dive into the unmistakable world of the glacier lakes, in whose mostly calm surface shimmering sky spectacles are impressively reflected. For thousands of years, the lakes have been witnesses to the glacial world of the Ice Age. On our circular hike we enjoy the dreamlike view of the Moarer Weißen, also called the Ridnaun Dolomites. Ascent: 2h - 600 vertical meters and 3km (moderately steep) Descent: 4 to 6 hours - 1,350 vertical meters and 11 km (steep and bumpy) A break is made halfway along the Trüber See lake with your own provisions, no stop at a hut is planned. The hike only takes place in optimal weather conditions! Surefootedness, good stamina and a head for heights are necessary for some short passages!

From Laion, we take the public bus to Ortisei. Our tour begins with a ride on the funicular to the Resciesa mount. From the mountain station, we take the path to Cason alpine hut, where we have dinner (not included). After dinner, we hike with our guide Herbert to the summit cross of Resciesa, at an altitude of 2,280 metres. There we can enjoy a breathtaking sunset. Fancy a varied hike where you can experience the secrets of nature? Then join us on our guided tour through the picturesque Seebertal valley - a real jewel in the Texelgruppe Nature Park. The guided hike starts at the Oberglaneggalm hut car park and takes you through an impressive high mountain landscape to the Seebersee lake. Surrounded by mighty rocky giants such as the Hochfirst (3,403 m) and the Granatkogel (3,302 m), the view is a sight to marvel at. Reed grass is reflected in the green-blue water, fish frolic beneath the surface - and with a bit of luck, you might even spot marmots. Their characteristic whistling can almost always be heard. Perhaps one of the rare alpine butterflies will cross your path - keep your eyes peeled! The way back is via the Seeberalm hut back to the starting point. You will be accompanied by a trained nature park guide, who will provide fascinating insights along the way: which plants grow here? How does the landscape change throughout the year? Which animals are native, and how do humans and nature share this space? The tour is part of a series of nine guided hikes through the Texelgruppe Nature Park - each with a different destination, each path offering new perspectives. This challenging hike leads to two alpine lakes in the Schalderer Tal valley, ideal for a refreshing dip and picnic. After a short rest, we hike to the Lorenzischarte, which separates the Schalderer Tal from the extensive pastures of the Kühbergalm. In the middle of the Sarntal Alps, a postcard view opens up of the surrounding mountains and the Dolomite massifs opposite. Our journey takes us by taxi through the Val di Funes to Zans. Upon arrival, we follow the forest path along the Kaserill stream to the meadow of Kirchwiesl. Here, path No. 32 leads us to the Kaserill Alp, further to the “Wörndle-Loch” Alp and finally, we reach the Schlüterhütte mountain hut. After a well-deserved lunch break, the path leads us uphill to the Col di Poma. The descent to the Zans parking lot passes via the Gampenalm hut and the Tschantschenon hut.
