From the Provincial Mining Museum in Maiern/Ridnaun, trail no. 9 takes us on a relaxed, leisurely hike to the entrance of the wild Burkhardklamm gorge. At the waterfall, we breathe in the finely atomized aerosol of the Fernerbach stream, and the invigorating effect of these healing drops is immediately noticeable. You will experience the health-promoting effect that our scientific study at the Paracelsus Salzburg Private University has shown. We find peace and relaxation by becoming aware of nature with all our senses. The alpine hut Aglsbodenalm invites you to a cozy stop. With Kneipp treatments, we also let the calming power of the water work its magic on us on the way back. Coming from Sterzing, follow the signs towards Ridnaun Valley up to Maiern. The meeting point is conveniently accessible by bus line 312 towards Ridnaun/Maiern. It is the last stop. Arrival at 9:38 AM, the tour starts just 5 minutes later! This tour takes you into the breathtaking landscapes of the Dolomites, where towering passes, idyllic huts, and pristine valleys await. Tour Description: Our journey begins with a ride on the Cabrio cable car in Tiers, taking us to the Frommer Alm. From there, we board the panoramic König Laurin 1 and 2 cable cars, which transport us directly to the Kölner Hütte at 2,337 meters. This is where our hike begins. From the Kölner Hütte, we follow trail no. 550 up to the Tschagerjoch (2,630 m), the highest point of the tour, where we are rewarded with a magnificent view of the surrounding Dolomites. The route then continues on trail no. 541 up to the Grasleiten Pass (2,601 m), another stunning viewpoint in the heart of the Rosengarten massif. The journey then takes us further downhill into the picturesque Tschamintal, a wild and romantic valley framed by towering rock walls. Father Sebastian Kneipp’s water therapy gets the metabolism and circulation moving and demonstrably strengthens the body’s defences. Fantastic views, vast natural landscapes and majestic mountains: this is the Dolorama Trail. Our hike takes us on a section of this long-distance hiking trail, from the Würzjoch around the striking Peitlerkofel, to the Schlüterhütte and then to Zans in the Villnöss Dolomite valley. During the hike, we learn exciting facts about the fauna and flora, the geological features of the Dolomites and also about the home of mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner. --La sciorta de Saslonch-- From Monte Pana, the route leads to the pastures of Plan de Cunfin and then continues along a spectacular switchback path that heads into the magnificent saddle, between Sassolungo and Punta delle Cinque Dita. The view is dominated by the imposing rock faces. Once here, follow a slightly ascending path to the Rifugio Vicenza, where lunch is planned. Ride the chairlift up to the Haunold/Baranci. From there we go in search of the giant Haunold and can explore his kingdom at various stations. The hike then continues across the Schmiedelwiesen to the Wildbad and its various water sources. Guided hike along the 360° circular hiking trail from the Egghof farm in Taufers i. M. to Schlinig. Ride with the hiking taxi from Mals railway station to the Egghof farm above Taufers i. M. From there via the "Tellaalm" to the "Tellajoch". The "Tellajoch" surprises with a 360° panoramic view of the mountain peaks of the Ortler and Sesvenna groups. The 360° viewing platform highlights the mountain panorama. Continue first downhill to the Laatscher and Schleiser Alm alpine pastures with insights into the Upper Venosta Valley alpine farming. A hidden gem in the dolomites, where enchantment meets nature La Val is the most characteristic and peaceful village of Alta Badia. Situated on the meadows overlooking the Sas de Pütia, here you can still breathe the rural air that once hung over the entire Dolomites. This excursion starts from Biei, a small hamlet of the village, to reach the Rit meadows, marked by the Crusc da Rit cross, the destination of the excursion. From here you can enjoy spectacular views not only of the village of La Val, but also of the surrounding mountains, such as Sas dla Crusc, with the peaks of Sas dales Nü and Sas dales Diesc, and Sas de Pütia. We start in Maiern in front of the Rent and Go bike rental in the direction of Bergl, go past the birthplace of the Ridnaun giantess and on to the Martalm. From there we cycle along the forest road to the Gewingesalm. After a little refreshment continue to cycle to Entholz and along the Erzweg back to the starting point. --Sota la Odles-- The exciting hike in the heart of the Puez-Odle Nature Park starts at the Col Raiser cable-way. Starting from the top station, a forest path leads to the newly built Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage viewpoint Mastlé – S. Cristina/Val Gardena, which is located at 2.200 m. The path beneath the vertical Fermeda Towers leads then to Pieralongia and after to the higher Seceda Alp. The hike starts at the Active & Events office in the centre of Selva di Val Gardena. With the local bus you will reach the idyllic hamlet of “Daunëi”. During a visit to a beehive, children and their parents will learn interesting facts about the honey bee, its life and the honey's journey from the flower blossom to the honey jar. From there you follow the path "Via Crucis" in direction of Vallunga, a true family paradise.
