    We are pleased to serve you some special types of coffee such as genuine Italian cappuccino or a strong espresso on our sunny terrace while you enjoy the views of the Ortler mountain. In our modern coffee shop we offer you a variety of home-made products like South Tyrolean apple strudel, a piece of buckwheat gateau, as well as fruit tartlets and chestnut hearts. The freshness of these products and their local origin are vitally important to us. Some of the ingredients for our dishes include the Vinschgau apricot, berries from the Martell Valley, South Tyrolean speck and spicy Alpine cheese. A variety of sundaes and a number of savoury snacks, locally called ‘marende’, are the ideal accompaniment on a coffee table.

    The Höfer Alm Alpine hut is a popular destination in summer as well as in winter. On the sun terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains of the Ötztal Alps and the Ortler Group. The Höfer Alm spoils guests with homemade food and serves South Tyrolean fare and daily specials on its small menu. Hikers will certainly get their money's worth here. Without much effort, the hut at 2,066 metres altitude is easily accessible from the Watles valley station.
