Enjoyable hours promises a unique gazebo on our stylish terrace Vinschgauer Sonnenberg. We seduce in the spring with fresh wild garlic dishes, as well as with the unique Biospargel from Kastelbell. It offers in summer salads, fresh strawberries and raspberries and sweet delights, such as the Passo apricot dumplings with Zimtbrösel. Autumn time - Treatment time hearty Törggele dishes and of course the popular poachers time! Our wine list offers exquisite white and red wines from renowned wineries, as well as fresh wine from Passo winemakers. Homemade juices from elderflower, strawberry, lemon balm are home-made.

The food is great, the pizza is excellent, the relaxed atmosphere caters for any occasion. The Tarscher Wirt knows how to do what a typical village inn needs to be doing. 

In our cozy Tavern and in our winter garden with panoramic views, we spoil you with traditional dishes such as roast potatoes with egg and bacon, or the typical dumplings.

Because of the indigenous cuisine and knowledge of wine. the ristorante become a culinary instance.

Our kitchen offers a typical South Tyrolean menu. You can taste the well-known Knödel, the homemade Schlutzkrapfen (South Tyrolean ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach) or the famous Spätzle. For meat lovers, we offer a menu based on local wild game.

Stop at the parking lot in Melag: the morning before the hike starts and in the afternoon to the end of the hike.

Freshness and the highest quality of ingredients and preparation are therefore of particular importance to us. We attach great importance to regional ingredients - milk and meat come from local farms. Landlord Rainer prepares all dishes fresh. We offer diet cuisine (also gluten-free) and light meals on request. The meals are served in one of our cosy rooms. Rainer cooks for our house guests. In the bar, at Bettina's, you can end the days in a convivial atmosphere.

Just enjoy a snack at a stop as hikers, bikers or motorcyclists. Or you can end the evening with a delicious Pasta with a glass of red wine. Our restaurant offers traditional cuisine.
