The small but fine School Museum at Tagusens shows visitors and interested people the life of the pupils between the years 1933 and 1993 and is a unique collection of furnishings and teaching documents that have been preserved on site. The school life in Tagusens did not mean an encounter with the "foreign" world for the "ABC-Shooters". The children in the lonely place knew each other, only the teacher changed year after year. Furnishings and teaching objects were less worn than elsewhere and thus remained intact. Nostalgic feelings and memories are certainly not absent here and seduce to a bygone era. The school museum is open every Wednesday and Friday from 14:00-18:00 and every Sunday from 10:00-18:00. You do not need to register for a visit.

Immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful hikes in the Seiser Alm Dolomites Region. This tour offers breathtaking views, alpine charm, and authentic South Tyrolean flair - perfect for anyone wanting to experience the Dolomites at their best. Tour Description: We take bus line 176 from Tiers to Ums. Starting in Ums, we follow trail no. 4, which leads us through an enchanting forest and across the Schlernbach stream. The ascent is steep, but together we’ll make it—and the view from Tschafonleger and the Tschafon Hut at 1,728 meters rewards our effort. We’ll take a short detour to the Völseggspitze before returning via trail no. 4A. The descent leads past the picturesque Wuhnleger to Weißlahnbad, where we’ll end the hike together. Get up early to enjoy the peace of morning while out hiking. What could be better than enjoying the peace and quiet of morning in the mountains? During the guided hike from St. Zyprian to the Tschafon mountain hut, a breathtaking view of the Rosengarten massif and the surrounding Dolomites awaits you. In the cosy family-run Tschafon mountain refuge you will enjoy a special mountaineer breakfast with regional products from South Tyrol, before the hiking guide Michaela takes you back to the starting point. If you want to enjoy the spring nature a little longer, you can extended the tour to the cross on the Völsegg Peak/Monte Balzo (approx. 25 min) and hike than back to St. Zyprian. Discover the natural material clay with Katja Battisti. In the Peterbühl area of Völs—an archaeological site where finds from various eras, including the late Bronze Age and early Middle Ages, have been uncovered—you will explore different techniques and experiment with natural pigments from the local area to decorate your clay creations. Each participant will have the chance to craft a flower pot or decorative vase to take home. Additional Info: If desired, Katja can fire your items for you. This process will take about a week. EXPERT: Katja Battisti, originally trained as a florist, later worked in painting and design therapy. Her journey has led her to explore a wide range of arts, crafts, natural and herbal knowledge, and spirituality. MEET engage - teilnehmen - partecipare Fiè - temporary exhibition on the village square - Art in the public space 09.05 - 31.10.2025 Vernissage 09.05.2025 - at 7.00 pm on the village square Artists: Marianna Gostner archival prints and photographies Kuratorin: Eva von Ingram Harpf The third edition of the temporary outdoor art installation for the town square of Fie sees Marianna Gostner a local multidisciplinary visual artist as protagonist. Gostner engages with archival photographies of local women and men and has selected a few outstanding portraits of late farmers in their festive garb - the so called Tracht. She displays them on site specific mounted frames all over the square of the old town of Fie. Moreover the shop windows of the well known Delago house will be covered with works where the artist has done some interventions to alter their aesthetic aspect. Mariann Gostner works a lot with „negatives“ of the photographic film and shows them in their nude , rough version. Life size photographies are placed good visible throughout the square of Fie to welcome visitors to engage with the people on the works. The artist want the local people as well as visitors to step into a visual dialogue where every frame invites participation, reflection, and emotion. Engage is a curated collection of photographs that challenge the passive gaze and demand attention—each image a moment of connection between subject, photographer, and viewer. Intimate portraits of proud South Tyrolean citizens in the works explore what it means to truly engage—with people, with places, with the present. Whether through confrontation, curiosity, or quiet contemplation, the photographs speak volumes in silence. This is not just an exhibition to observe. It’s one to experience, to question, to feel what the people on the works must have thought and felt int the moment the portraits were taken.

Relax in the early morning with yoga, the mindfulness and the breathing practiced evenly, consciously to this end, all muscles, tendons, ligaments and organs are activated. On the Calvary in Kastelruth the participants are surrounded by nature and silence and can get mental and physical strength for the day. Afterwards our athletic participants get a healthy breakfast. The Tschurtschen Opening Party, organized by the Volunteer Fire Department of St. Michael, takes place every year and guarantees a fantastic atmosphere! Featuring a top DJ, cool drinks, and lots of fun.

The second castle concert organised by the Klausen/Seis music school (the first took place at Velthurns Castel in 2019) will see the talented pupils of Ingrid Deleug and Astrid Amico piano classes showcasing their skills. They offer a classical solo and a four-handed programme that goes beyond the expectations of a normal final concert and is well suited to the surrounding setting. The programme includes piano literature gems as well as less-known pieces from Zipoli to Haydn, from Mozart to Schubert and from Weber and Chopin to Brahms.

For the 20th anniversary of the Farm Museum in the Farmhouse Tschötscherhof/St. Oswald and on the occasion of International Museum Day, traditional dishes prepared according to old recipes will be served from 12:00 to 14:00, while freshly baked apple fritters and homemade cakes will be available all day. On 24 May 2025, the 10th Youth Band Meeting will take place in Völs am Schlern. On this special occasion, youth bands from all over Südtirol will come together to make music and present their skills to the public. A youth band competition is held in the cultural centre Völs, where some youth bands show what they are made of. Parallel to this, short concerts are held on the town square. Food and drinks will be offered from 9.30 a.m. 4.30 p.m.: At the festive conclusion, the young musicians will parade through the village in a small procession, bringing the day to an atmospheric close. The participating youth bands are looking forward to welcoming numerous guests and enjoying a day of music together.
