Living heritage of the Dolomites The travelling exhibition with 20 impressive panels was designed for the 50th anniversary of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park. The open-air exhibition shows pictures of the impressive landscape of the nature park and the diversity of flora and fauna. The exhibition also tells of the beginnings of the mountain refuges and of the people who live and work in the nature park. The exhibition travels to every village in the Dolomites region from June to October and is accessible free of charge. The exhibition TRACES presents a selection of works by the artist Aron Demetz. Sculptures made of wood, bronze as well as digital scans and milled objects created in recent years are on display. An overview that reveals the different souls of the South Tyrolean sculptor: the poetic and expressive power of the figures, the absoluteness of the composition, the continuous experimentation with techniques and materials. Cultural roots of the region are conveyed with a contemporary approach. curated by Eva von Ingram Harpf The exhibition of the sculptures of Aron Demetz can be seen in the village center of Seis until mid-October.

MODENA PARK - Vasco Tribute Band MODENA PARK, a band based in Bolzano, was formed in mid-2017 through the union of six musicians from different backgrounds, already members of numerous well-known formations and projects in the local scene. The initiative began with the aim of participating in a concert in tribute to the great rock star from Zocca. The harmony among the members and the positive feedback from the audience on that occasion were so strong that the transition from a temporary group to a band was swift: by January 2018, the first concert organized at Club Sudwerk in Bolzano was sold out. MODENA PARK revives Vasco's extensive repertoire, drawing on the most recent arrangements, and they stand out for their great care and attention to detail, making his music the benchmark for Italian rock. An exciting adventure awaits you during the guided tour of the church tower! From our expert guide Oswald Tröbinger you will not only learn why the church and the tower were built separately, but also have the opportunity to climb the observation tower: 82 meters high, with more than 300 steps. The tour lasts one hour and is a must for every visitor. The tour is only in German. However, you can still take part to see the tower from inside.

With our hiking guide Julian, we will venture into the wild and romantic Tschamin Valley. Immerse yourself in the history of Tiers: along the way, you will learn fascinating facts about the Bergler, the Tschamintaler, the Sour Waterle, and more. We will take our lunch break at the Rechter Leger before hiking back to the Tschaminschwaige. As a grand finale, we will visit the Steger Säge Nature Park information center and witness a demonstration of the old water-powered Venetian sawmill. The power of alpine herbs. The hay baths in Fiè allo Sciliar have been practiced since 1903. During this guided tour, we will tell you about the culture and the healing effect of the hay bath. The hay bath originated from a tradition of the farmers who took their night's lodging in the hay barn during haymaking and noticed that after a night in the hay the tiredness of the previous day was blown away. Those who spend their wellness holidays around the Alpe di Siusi can relax in the hay according to an old tradition. The medicinal herbs such as thyme, arnica, cinquefoil and gentian unfold their full effect when you sweat. The grass for the hay bath, interspersed with the many medicinal herbs, is mown exclusively on unfertilised meadows, early in the morning or late in the evening, in order to preserve all the essential essences. Breakfast at its finest in the most beautiful mountain scenery you can imagine. Every Tuesday from 7:00 a.m., all year round, we offer a sunrise breakfast with South Tyrolean products by reservation. Pure culinary delights and alpine pleasure.

Experience the fascinating beauty of the Dolomites on a round trip with a small bus! Departure is from Völs am Schlern at 8:00 am, from Seis am Schlern at 8:10 am and from Kastelruth at 8:20 am. The route takes you from Völs to Kastelruth through the enchanting Val Gardena, over the Sella Pass and the impressive Pordoi Pass, up to the Falzarego Pass and on to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Lake Misurina awaits you there, where we take a break of about an hour. Here you have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant or enjoy some food you have brought with you while enjoying the view of the famous "Drei Zinnen". After a relaxing break, the journey continues into the Höhlenstein Valley and the historic town of Bruneck (no Stop). Arrival in Kastelruth is planned for around 17:30. The guide will speak German and Italian, but you are welcome to join the tour to enjoy the nature and beauty of the Dolomites. The St. Valentin church surrounded by meadows and fields, with the Schlern massif in the background, the small church of St. Valentin offers a real idyllic scene. The construction is of great historical and artistic value with precious frescos from the 14th and the 15th century. A peculiarity (among others): the painter has tried to include the local landscape as background in its representation of the three Kings. Together with hiking guide Paula we make our way to St. Valentin church (walk approx. 20 minutes). This is followed by a guided tour of the church and then back to Seis.
