Which traces are we following on this route? 
St. Ulrich has a history of settlement going back to 1000 A.D., but this takes on a special dynamic after the 19th century and the construction of the first road through the valley. It was initially the global success of the wood carving and toy industries that brought economic boom to St. Ulrich and changed the face of the village profoundly with a newly-built church and schoolhouse, warehouses, workshops and villas belonging to artists and businesspeople. A second developmental spurt brought hiking, winter sports and tourism, which did not only have an influence on the village, but also caused a sustained change in its societal and cultural environment still happening today.

The unique thing about this hike is that you are accompanied by the Sassolungo along the entire route. The hike with spectacular views of the surrounding majestic Dolomite peaks is the perfect excursion for families.

During this winter excursion you may well just see modern farmsteads, but handy information boards showing pictures from the time reveal what the buildings really looked like in the past.

This snowshoe trail will take you to the Sëurasas meadows, a place standing out for its lush nature and where peace and quiet reign supreme.

Resciesa is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Puez - Odle Nature Park and is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Val Gardena. This loop hike takes you from the top station of the Resciesa funicular to the summit cross. Passing then by the S. Croce Chapel you return to the starting point. Suitable for hikers of all ages, this easily hiked route guarantees spectacular panoramic views, extending from the Valle Isarco to the Sciliar area and to the Passo Sella.

A journey of discovery of Ladin culture, walking through the village starting at the valley station of the Resciesa funicular and first reaching the 'Solaria' house and then the 'Cudan' house. You will firstly cross a beautiful meadow with a wonderful view of Ortisei, and then plunge into nature through the coniferous forest. You will then reach the characteristic 'Dumat' farmstead. The way back runs along the Via Mureda until, after about 700 m, at the junction, you turn left into Via Meisules, to return to the village centre.

A walking trail dedicated to the Alpine Ski Champions in Val Gardena.

The route is dedicated to all those who have won a World Cup race since 1969 or a World Championship race in 1970 in Val Gardena, as well as to who believed in the idea of skiing in Val Gardena with great ambition and pioneering spirit.

This themed trail starts in the village center of Selva, behind the Ski School. It is a journey through the history of skiing in Val Gardena, from the beginnings of Alpine skiing, to its establishment as a world-famous ski area which hosts breath-taking ski world cup races every year. In the audio guide you are accompanied by Erich Demetz, honorary citizen of Selva, pioneer and conceiver of the alpine Ski World Cup races in Val Gardena and President for 28 years of the FIS (Fédération Internationale de Ski).
