At the entrance to the Puez-Geisler Nature Park, a place of profound silence stretches for several kilometres. Embedded in the valley between dense forests and majestic mountains, hikers immerse themselves here in an oasis of tranquility. With every step, one feels the primeval power and peaceful atmosphere emanating deeply from the woodland.
The hike starts at the entrance to the Vallunga Valley and follows the scenic hiking trail no. 14 to the picturesque St. Silvester Chapel. You gently gain altitude while traversing a majestic high-altitude forest, dominated by larches and fragrant Swiss pines. The valley gradually narrows, the forest gives way to dense dwarf pine groves, until you finally reach the wide pastures. There, the view opens up to breathtaking, steep rock faces. The return journey follows the same route, allowing you to absorb the impressions once more.
