This hike cuts across the imposing mountain landscape coasting the Puez-Odle Nature Park: these very same Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009.
Itinerary
This trail starts at the Col Raiser mountain station and then gradually becomes steeper as it coasts by the Mastlé mountain pasture and idyllic mountain huts until it reaches the Troier hut. Return on the same trail.

This route does not present any particular safety risks. The trail may be icy, in which case the use of crampons is advisable.
You should always wear good hiking boots, a warm winter jacket, hat or headband and gloves. Furthermore should a drink, a snack and the sunscreen not be missing in your rucksack.
The Nature Park Puez-Odle was founded in 1978 and covers an area of 10,722 hectares. The nature parks of the Dolomites were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2009. Here you can discover the various rock types, sedimentary layers and weathering. This is the reason why the Puez-Odle Nature Park is also called the “history book of the earth”.
The valley station of the Col Raiser cable car can be reached by the free shuttle bus (8:30 - 12:00 a.m., every 15 minutes) from the Dosses Square. The valley station of the Col Raiser cable car is also served by the bus line 358. Bus schedule: www.valgardena.it/bus
The starting point is the valley station of the cable car Col Raiser, which is located in the municipality of Selva Gardena, but is not far from the centre of S. Cristina. It can be reached by internal shuttle buses or by car (chargeable parking on site).
